@campinCarl354 first you need to spend a few years on a ground crew to get fire experience, that is hard enough. Then if you make it to training camp, you will do 10 hours of running and strength training a day. I had given it some thought too, im on an Ontario Fireranger crew
no , it's a movie they were making in the show Entourage. F'n hilarious. jason patrick is amazing. when he pulls the cotton out of his suit after the director tells him it's regulation.lol. when he says water and sequels aren't for him (speed 2 anyone). my favorite show right now.
The music was too loud for the parts with dialogue, lower it using a filter and get a plain font for the title cards, those are too cheesy. When it comes to the montage parts though you should turn up the frequency. An easy fix.

Love Entourage. But, this "movie" is as far away from factual as one could get - either for jumping or wildland firefighting. Even the uniforms are wrong. I mean, really - how tough is it for a Hollywood writer to call a jump base or at least watch a documentary? Add drama, do the Hollywood stuff, but at least get the basic shit right.
Hmm. This should be interesting. I like Adrian Grenier. I've been waiting for a good film about wildland firefighting. I'm rather hoping this doesn't turn out to be a glammed-up Hollywood misrepresentation. Those buildings exploding like that as the handcrew struts through the town didn't really look all that realistic...but we'll have to see the film to find out.
