  • @UnchainTheNight1 so it cleans 150 records for 30 bucks, thats pretty awesome. looks easy and effective

  • Nice tip, i got this issue with some of my records who's been dusting for a while, the sound is hideous =/

May i put in a request?

I think there would be a huge use in a tutorial explaining all the connectors ec ( what line, aux, tape, rec) actually stands for, and why you shouldnt use some appliances with certain inputs, explaining what cue, aux, line, tape,mV etc etc is :) that would help alot of people!

  • Great video! Also a lot of people do not know how to take out a record from its sleave. Never ever, ever use your thumb and index finger and pull the record out because If nails are long, you could damage it. Always let the edge of the record record slip out into your palm (don't let the playing surface touch your palm though) then place a finger the label. My sister nearly distroyed my KLF White Room album of which is an unreplaceable classic! Incidenterly I have uploaded some rare old stuff :)

  • HTFR RULES!.. popping in tomorrow :D

  • now that is a tune!

Anyone know what it's called or who it's by?

  • I know this sounds crazy,if there is dirt on the needle just blow it off.

  • Whilst that will get rid of bigger clumps of dirt, there will be tiny bits left on the needle still that can reduce sound quality. Using a good quality brush is a great way of cleaning a needle.

  • Another good way, pick yourself up the softest bristled toothbrush you can find, such as one for infants.

Remove your cartridge and gently go over your needle keeping to the grain of the brush.

Works wonders, saves 20 bucks =)

  • you cant blow off grime from the oil applied by your finger tips while touching the vynil, it then causes dirt to build up and sticks on the needles..

  • hmm £20 for that?

  • It may not look like much for your £20 but it'll more than save you £20 in wear and tear of your records. This is a premium brand and as such you can expect premium results although at a higher price. We also sell other vinyl cleaners for as little as £2.95

  • I use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 3% with a MICROFIBER cleaning cloth, and the difference is night and day!!! There is no residue left on the stylus after album play. I use 2 cloths one to clean the record and the other one to quickly dry it, WORKS GREAT!!! TRY IT!!!

  • Most of which you can find here - htfr(.)com/vinyl-care/

  • I just tried it out today, and I'm really worried about something. Do you have to spray a new coat or whatever on the pad each time you clean one that hasn't been cleaned with it yet? Also, is there a risk of getting the records scratched or worn out by using this by some odd reason?

  • As always, please read the insturctions supplied with Gruv glide on how to apply it.

As for the risk of scratches or being worn from using there product, neither will happen. The pads are super soft and the spray is not corrosive, so your records will not get scratched or worn from using this product. In fact it should stop them getting scratched or worn by removing any dirt build up.

  • Now how to you clean the needle?

  • We sell a wide range of brushes to clean your needles - htfr(.)com/vinyl-care/

  • Okay, how do I know if the needle is dirty? Today, I played a record, and I think there was some dirt on that record, then I played a record that was in mint condition. How do I know if the needle is dirty?

  • You'll visably be able to see dirt on the needle. You'll get a small build up of dirt and fluff. If you are still getting bad sound quality you may either need a new stylus or may need to change how your turntable has been set up. View our other beginner DJ video for help on this or visit htfr(.)com/stylus for a wide range of stylii.

  • if while a record was playing and the needle was to just jump by itself would this product fix this problem?

  • It may do. It all depends on why it is jumping. If it's due to a dirt build up on the needle - a small ball of fluff may build which will cause it to jump - then yes it will. If the record is warped or damaged however it will not fix this.

  • yes we do have gruv glide here in U.S. check out your local Dj and pro audio stores. i have one and it works like a charm. cleans my records and cleans fingerprints as well!.

  • Is that available here in america?

  • I'm not too sure, possibly. However HTFR does ship worldwide and we have competitive shipping rates so shipping to america is not only easy but cheap too.

  • cool does it also remove finger prints?

  • It sure does!

  • nice clip
