It was an exaggeration. I concur that a set of clippers would be faster/easier, especially for the hair on the back of one's head. However, hair of a certain length can be just as easily..if not more easily cut with a set of scissors. The overall appearance when done with either method will differ as well.

Dude, USE A DUCK TAPE IN YOUR MOUTH. In the moment you talk take it off, but put it on again when you start cutting your hair and so on. And guys, no need to take a shower or wash your hair after you'r done, just use your vacuum cleaner on your hair, works for me.

Pretty good given that you only used scissors. I'm not sure if you have a cowlick on your neck line or if you missed a spot. Clippers usually do a good job at fading my cowlicks. After a few weeks of growth I then use the scissors because cowlicks appear longer when standing straight up.

I do my son's hair (18 mnths old) in the bath tub using a similar method. It comes out pretty good for being free :).

I cut my own hair most of the time, though I never get hair in my mouth (I always get it in my shirt and stuff and on the bathroom floor).

Still don't really get how you get it there..

afterwards we had to have a very serious conversation about how you should NEVER try this at home. NOBODY should cut their own hair. (Toby you need to put a warning on this video :) I didn't really think about this when he came up behind me and started watching it.
