hey elle, just so you know keeping different teas in the same container will make the tea flavours blend together, and the clear lid on the jar wont work either because if the teas are exposed to light they will lose their flavours as well. I work at teavana haha :)

On the filter, you're supposed to put the tea leaves in it first. Then, place it on to of the mug. After that, then you pour the water onto the tea leaves and leave the leaves to soak in the water for a few minutes... Hope this helps! :)

I am a huge Teavana fan. Just a suggestion...for those who are weary of or don't want to use a tea strainer or buy a tea maker, Teavana sells empty tea bags. All you have to do is measure the tea of your choice into the bag and then steep in hot water. They are easy to use and keep the tea leaves contained.

My favorite tea for the winter months in spicy Indian chi tea its not too spicy but is lovely on a cold day like today where its about to snow..!! The best way to enjoy tea is to make a brew, boil water and add ur tea, when it comes to the boil add some milk, bring to the boil again, add sugar to taste and enjoy.

Hey elle you should try some honey ginger tea! its soooo invigorating and soothing, and something that can be done at home! you just need honey and slices of fresh ginger...you can also buy a jar of the tea in asian markets...or maybe elsewhere haha. Its my favorite drink! :)

I work for Teavana and I definitely recommend getting a strainer with finer holes, it will prevent those leaves from leaking into your tea. :) So glad you love tea. I love it too!

You're supposed to put the tea right into the container and out of the bag! Teas that contain citrus fruits (like Youthberry Wild Orange Blossom) have to be in special containers that you buy FROM teavana so they don't eat through the container.

I hope you are aware that if you keep your tea in those bags and not their tins the tea is only fresh for 5 days and no longer. so all the health benefits are basically gone. the tins keep the tea fresh for over a year. the perfect tea maker is 19.95 which is only about 7$ more than that strainer. The reason the tea got into your cup is because the meshing isnt fine enough the tea maker allows your leaves to fully expand that way you get the full health benefits. And that spoon is about 4$

U can mix the tea in a tea pot and leave it in there for a few mins and then set the strainer on ur cup and pour the hot tea thru the strainer..this will prevent tea going into ur cup :)

Elle, in Australia we dont have Teavana, nor do we have Keurig. But we have a kettle made by Breville that is specifically for Tea. Its very technological. where you chose what tea your brewing, and it has a magnetic basket that drops and lifts for the right amount of time for the certain tea your drinking. Very very cool.

Also we have a store called T2. which is AMAZING! Im not sure if you have them in america. But Amazing. if you ever get the chance give them a go.

If you like chai-esque teas, bangail spice by celestial (same brand as sleepytime). It's extremely spicy (in the cinnamon, nutmeg sense) and has a natural sweetness to it. I call it my Christmas tea since it kind of smells like the cinnamon pine-cones you can buy around Christmas time

i think that the tea strainer or whatever is what you put in the teapot, i think that u need a special tea pot 2! i saw it in england, so why don't you try making it in a teapot? im pretty sure that you attach it to the lid of the teapot, (the special one? idk if u can buy it in america) and then add hot water and then put the lid in and let the tea leaves sit. Im not sure, but i hope it works!

here is a tip Elle try using pure AGAVE NECTER!! my mom bought it from costco its 10x sweeter than sugar so you only use a little plus its all natural because it comes from a cactus type plant check it out!!! love your vids btw xoxox =]

Rooibos (pronounced 'roy-boss') is too small for most of those tea strainders, so if that's the tea you tried and the leaves got in your tea, that's probably why. I made that mistake before, too :) so now for my rooibos I buy the tea bags that you fill up yourself because then the small leaves won't slip through into the water. Also, let your boiled water cool a bit before brewing green tea, and only for 1 min. It will be less bitter :)

OMG I LOVEEEEE TEA VANA!! We just recently got one in our mall, and it is now my favorite store! It is a little pricey, but SO worth your money. Tea is really good qualitly, and the service is amazing when it comes to explaining teas! My favorite tea there is the Youthberry, it's sweeter, and has a fruity flavor, and I just love it! I have tried orange flavored teas in the past, and they have had too strong of a taste for me, the flavored tasted like an orange rind, which has a bitter taste to it
