  • @northeasternchinese So, You want proof that this is just another propaganda video.

The director Duffy Wang has worked as director of CCTV (party mouthpiece) for 2 years after which he moved to US.

Lili Yuan, intl producer, is deputy director general of China Intercontinental Communication Center, is funded by Chinese government. You know as well as I do, this is party propaganda. Anyone who is still not convinced I suggest you research on the web.

  • Isn't that true the USA is assimilating other cultures into American culture? The tibetens aren't just animals in the zoo. they live and progress

  • this is Chinese propaganda

  • @tcl83 If you think this is propaganda to brainwash people, go visit Tibet and the rest of China yourself. It costs a lot less than a trip to Europe, and I am sure you will be surprised at what you see.

  • @cainiaowu When I get my citizenship I'll go visit Tibet for sure. I'm sure I'll be surprised at the extent of Chinese occupation.

  • you white people all you can say is free tibet free tibet say free china u people are blind where were you people on june 4,89 if they can't free it's own how can tibet be free?

  • FREE LIU XIAO BO!

  • @guerriero667 free all the innocent muslims who are still being tortured in American secret jails all around the world, free Private Robert Manning who is being tortured leagally in USA for speaking out on the war crimes NATO are commiting in Afghanistan and Iraq. :)

  • Dharamshala, May 9 : Tbeg cult leader Dalai Lama on Sunday left for the United States on a 15-day begging mission here on Sunday.

During his begging mission, the Ass Hole Dalai Lama is scheduled to deliver cult discourses at various places and also interact with the low life Tbegs scums residing in the United States and Canada.

This is fuck shit Dalai Lama's second begging mission to the US this year.

  • I want to apologize to all Tibetans for terrible racist videos like this. I and many others want you to know that we support you and one day TIBET WILL BE FREE AGAIN!

  • I thought during the world war 1&2,many western countries destoried and stole many things about chinese culture, antiques, and buildings from china, those left things from china all in your countries's museum, most said were gifts from china,is it funny?

  • I wonder americans worried china change tibet's culture, but what about america? killed a lot of netive americans and africans and attact so many lands to be the usa,and right now to pretend be a peaseful country to try to free tibet,it's funny. leave tibet alone!

  • @dragiona america has 800 military bases around the world with guns pointing at everyone from every direction, yet they want to free tibet? how bout freeing the world, and close the bases? stop projecting power through force and threats.

  • THIS IS SOOOO SAD!!!! Your not fooling anyone...,your video is sooooo fake!!!!

  • Free Tibet protesters call every fact that does not support their idea fake, and yes, its soooooo sad because they cant even give any proves.

  • what do you know about tibet, have you ever been there before? you just listen to dali lama bullshit ,and most he said all according to the Zen Buddhism and Buddhist sutras, and what dali lama did for tibet? nothing, and he is a monk, he won't be a good leader

  • @dragiona As if you know everything about Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Before pointing at someone else, your own finger should be clean..

  • Katy's cam is a post op effect. This is not an amateur made video. They cast perfect idiots to fill the job. People who know nothing, think nothing and say what they are supposed to to get a free trip to Tibet. So what? This has no bearing on torture, sterilization, incarceration of innocent people, etc. It's not like these people were ever going to be invited into a Tibetan home and told the truth or into a prison and shown the truth of the CCP.

  • hehehe, are you jealous they had a good time there? sounds like you know ever aspect of their lives, what they did there, why they're there.....well, it's not "knowing" so much as "assuming" to make yourself feel better (masturbation remember? :D). yeah, that's the only way to align your universe in place ;)

ur accusing them of being biased, without free minds, while failing to look at urself too.

"it did not change my mind about the CCP."

-never has, never will. what a free mind u have!!!!!

  • I am not jealous of these people who work from 9 to 6 for the last 6 years and have never been anywhere...I travel all over the world, idiot, I have been to 40 countries now. To be honest I liked India much more than China. Even the Tibetan community is richer in culture and freedom to be themselves in India. In many ways I would say that the CCP has made Tibet into a very sterile and rather stale tourist region.

  • Day to day life of Tibetans is something I really got to experience in Dharamsala, a place where the Tibetans are free to practice their religion and BE TIBETAN. I doubt you have been to Tibet or India...haha

    unit45x

  • of course you like India more! that place has no human rights violations nor poverty!! XD

oh yeah, seeing open sewers with swarming flies is the way to go! too bad you didn't stay there for too long ;)

"CCP, evil, corrupt, brainwash"..those are your tags ;0

"a place where the Tibetans are free to practice their religion"

-except those who worship dorje shugden ;) (of course i'll bring that up. your rhetoric against mine :D)

  • India has terrible Human Rights violations (especially in Kashmir), and extreme poverty. That is well known and becomes very evident the moment you arrive. I will go back and stay longer (I really enjoyed my time there, limited as it was: 10 days...) I have spent much more time in China.

  • Your quotations are not my words...Tibetans are free to practice any religion in India, including Shugden. That issue is just for CCP rats to use to exploit the situation. Boring! India is very tolerant of religious freedom. Tibetans are not required to live in Dharamsala or listen to the Dalai Lama...so it is irrelevant anyway...

  • yeah, that's why dalai was summoned to court right? hahaha.

it's typical for you to not listen to their outcries. people who "speak on behalf of those who cannot speak" are very selective :D

    another tag line from you:

    "CCP=Shugden=Boring"

yeah, all those tibetans and white folks who follow DS are paid by the ccp. their forefathers were exiled, but that was just an "act".........XD they also beat themselves and blamed dalai's goons. that's how it is right?

  • What do you know about Tibet? just sit at home and watch those western fake news about dali lama and bad part of china, i know you guys try hard to make china hard, what dali lama helped of tibet and tibet people? nothing!

  • you guys are brainwash by western reporters, you go nowhere and just sit at home to watch those fake news, have you ever been to china or tibet? i dare everybody support dali lama have never been to china and tibet, all you know just from the fake western news, that's why i want to say you are a totally fool and stupid mind!

  • yo buddy, don't tell me that. i'm on your side :)

  • They say enough tags to let anyone intelligent know that they are not experts on anything, and therefore their comments and assumptions are irrelevant in the face of the atrocities being committed by the CCP on a daily basis. This is not just a game of cat and mouse. This is about real people and real lives. These people are jokers...and you don't need elevation sickness meds in Tibet!

  • Duhlie please take a bath, you are so stinks. Free Tibet!

  • i don't eat kimchi, you hoe ;P

  • your profile page shows how Chinese don't have manner. free tibet!!! ok?? and don't forget to take a bath. you are so stinks

  • my profile page shows nothing but politeness :D

    tibet is not for free.

  • where there always have some fool people like you with blind eyes and blind mind

  • who ever take this video as "evidence" that tibet is free and those guys speak the truth should google for "Tibet Diary: Trekking along the CCP Propaganda Mission"

those guys dont know anything about tibet and china is using this now as propaganda

  • haha, pay a $1 extra, you can get two cocks for the price of one.................. 0_0 so they say, wait! lemme explain!!!

-at least they've been to tibet and seen it for themselves. have you?? haha, this is their diary. this is all on their own accord. u just hate to admit it.

  • ok i admit that they have been in tibet without any background information like most tourists, so its not a wonder they feel like its all good!

    im impressed ^^

  • they're not just "tourists".

didn't you listen what they said prior to their trip in tibet?

they're were once the same people like you (^_^). mislead and misinformed, up until they've actually have been there. then presto! revelation!

however, i do admit they weren't hopeless. that's probably the only thing that differs them from you :)

  • so what kind of information is true what they tell you in this video here? :)

  • their trip to Tibet was filmed and translated into Chinese with Chinese music, they just happen to be interviewed prior to going to Tibet...and then "presto! revelation" What a lie. I have been to Tibet and although it made me able to picture Tibet more realistically, it did not change my mind about the CCP. These people do not understand the nature of the CCP or the secretive ways the CCP fools tourists all the time.

  • This is not just their diary. It is so contrived and obviously not all their own words. Some are, but it is mixed with all kinds of typical crap...These people sure do say all the key points, even the "Disneyland Tourist region" bit is good. This is pure propaganda. "Spectacular Airports" oh my God, that is right out of the CCP handbook...

  • f****g wankers, both of them

  • She's a communist, so is her escort. They're full of crap.

  • hey ChiAm

they're Americans....something that you are desperately trying to be hehe.

must be hard for sell-out like you, feeling that awkward moment of trying to fit in inside of a...let's say, an Irish American Pub ;)

  • how china today? does the constitution still get violated by the government?

must be hard for you to see how chinas government fools your brothers and sisters

    ;) sell-out

  • i can't say racists stuff in switzerland...damn it, and i thought there's freedom of speech there ;)

    (courtesy from jon)

  • im not sure what you trying here but, there is a law for that... you know what a law is, dont you?

like its a law that chinese have freedom of speech

i dont violate laws like the CCP

  • is there a law in switzerland for freedom of speech? if there is, why can't i say racist stuff there? where's my freedom of speech?

if there are laws, then there are no full freedoms. :D

haha mightyguri replied my comment that i sent to rschori hahah. what's the matter, you're using multiple accounts as a loop hole of yt's commenting limit? :)

i'm no more a troll than you are :D welcome to the club homie!

  • do you need freedom of speech to insult minorities????

  • well, if ur not allowed to verbally insult them, then there's no freedom of speech :)

    bada bing bada boom!

  • thats the law :) yes

like article 35 of the constitution of china: Citizens of the People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of association, of procession and of demonstration

is there a law that supports the violation of article 35???

  • well, if there's no free speech in switzerland, why bitch about other countries lacking freedom of speech??

there is a law not to promote separatism and other stuff. so i guess aside from that, article 35 or w/e is A-Okay :D

  • which law says that? :) show us

its a law against racism! doesnt mean you cant call dumbos like you a chink, but i wouldnt do that anyway, no matter with or without that law! beside insulting ethnic minorities, you are free to say what you want

thats a law and switzerlands government follows all laws ;) unlike chinas

maybe because the people here cant be fooled

  • cracker, niggers, chinks, jap, gook, spic, kyke hahahaa who gives a fuck? sticks and stones will hurt my bones but bullets will kill me....shit, is that how it goes??? ;)

"but i wouldnt do that anyway"

-u just did u faghole haha. you lil sly ;)

yeye, that's the swiss law. you can't have full freedom of speech. same in china. :)

no harm done. we're all the same XD

  • hmmmm if you mean LOL

lets hope for a new melamine strike hard campaign in china

    something will come ;)

  • lol he really thinks you cant insult somebody in a racist way in switzerland, like the police would round you up and put you in jail at anytime :D

    chink is just jealous

  • omg dont write chink! i can hear the police coming allready! OMG OMG!! RUUUUN!

now i feel like in china!!

  • yeah, but it's good to know that we send a lot of powered milk in Tibet as part of the aid and welfare hahahah.

  • we are so criminals right now ;) we broke the law, calling you a CHINK! call the cops and sue us!

hey hows china today? i heard about something from hunan and children are sick with lead poisoning? is that true? is there no such law that prevents companys from doing such crap in china? oh i see, all about the money ;)

    CCP is great huh?

  • tibetans are chinks too hahaha

or naybe they get fucked by chinks. and they give off chinks offspring :DDD whether they like it or not XDD

  • really? so how comes when you google for melamine and tibet, you dont find many reports about your claim? there is even a report that shows up who tells a different story ;)

it looks like the CCP treats tibetans better in this case than the blind han majority

  • lol, of course you dont find any kind of reports hahha.

that's how we know there is no genocide whatsoever. it's a freakin shangri-la there. the ccp always treats tibetans than the han. you're right, that's a known fact XD

  • yeah yeah you blind prick ^^ live in your bubble

  • treat tibetans better than the hans i mean, but not only tibetans. every other ethnic minority is treated better than the hans.

maybe someday, we hans won't be "blinded" anymore and finally get the respect that we deserve in our own land. :)))

    that's gonna be a beautiful day :D

  • dont worry about that, the law will prevent you from having this beautiful day ;)

even the laws that supports that "day" will be violated by your lovely government, just in case you didnt realized that either ;)

tibetans are more worth than every single han in china

  • and for your information, i dont have to do multipple accounts just to fool youtubes commenting system ;) i have to type in a code and can comment again

    loser

  • then why do you do multiple accounts then? mightybaldy/rschori??

so that it would seem you have a "friend" that's backing you up lololol!!! XDD

there are less and less tibetans in tibet, is that why they have more worth?? :D

let's make em rare, the value is gonna have 1000% mark-up XD

maybe we can put the vulture-burial remains in our museums. those will be priceless!! chinese billionaires are gonna be competing for them in the auctions. ``that skin goes well in my living room`` hahaha!

  • i dont do multiple accounts, and i have friends beside you, yes :) and they love to fuck people like you up

you make it so easy for us to look good

  • haha, i know it's your same lame ass account. guri and chori. dalai teaches his faglets well.

you aint got no other friends but your computer, haha pathetic :D

how do they fuck me up? are they faggots like you? you guys suck each other cocks and make a circle on the floor, or what?

i made it easy for you :) exhibit A: my name XD

  • same lame account? why? whats your evidence that we dont know each other since both are from the same country and we do not use IM to communicate with each other so both can laugh at you?

  • who has homosexual dreams of your dick and my mouth here, faggot? LOL

i dont even think about what else you figure out every day :D

  • hahahahahaha

i GOT IT!!! he's one of those new male prostitutes from china :D thats why he dreams of big white dick all day long guri!

    hahahahahaha

  • i dream native pussaayy.

    i heard they're very bendy!!

  • lol

like you would need a "bendy" one with your small penis ;)

  • don't worry, i got 10 fingers and 10 toes hahahah

  • yeah and each one of those is bigger than your penis ;)

  • hahahahaha omg XD

    he's a miracle! a living wonder

the guy with the penis that is smaller then all his fingers and toes!

hmmm... so china is full of wonders

  • imagine how he's masturbating ;)

he grabs his "thing" he calls his penis and starts wanking it... suddenly he looks down to it and is shocked "OMG where is he going????" he opens his hand and taadaaaa, there it is!! "aaah and i thought it fell of"

    LOOOOL

ok that way gay too, DuhLie, dont get happy ok? u wont get company :p

  • hahah you're imagining me masturbating?? ;0

i bet your blushing right now, aren't ya? hmm? heheheh

but you're right, dalai is gay :D

  • search for your penis and wank it, we shared some gay thoughts ;)

  • haha, good on you for finally getting outta the closet.

i heard dharamsala has a huge gay community. you should go there :)

  • naaaah i better go to beijing and have some fun with a male prostitute over there since they are in need

  • @DuhLie No, actually it's you who invented homosexuality.

So shut up asshole and lead a life instead of bitching around

  • i have a good idea for you!!!! an amazing business idea!

you should travel to switzerland and collect some swiss air and export it to china :) i bet you would make millions by selling real clean air in china!

    what do you think?

  • dont you realize that it dosent matter how many times you rant against dalai lama and tibetans on YT??? that wont prevent the oppression of your beloved brothers and sisters in china :)

and i think thats good, isnt it?

  • he dont have to realize that

why should he? does he looks like he cares about someone?

  • oh of course!! he cares sooo much about the "people" of china ;)

just like the CCP is doing

  • the only ones who get fucked are chinese prostitutes in chinese brothels in lhasa by tibetans and tourists! woohooooo

wether you like it or not ;)

"me ling ling, giving you 2 hour of chinese culture for just 120RMB"

  • yup, tibetans gals loves our han cock hahah.

they're meat lovers after all hahaha.

law or no law, we're gonna be "violated" by our government so much that we'll have a mass exodus towards tibet hahaa.

and no matter how much you diss ccp or w/e, it won't even hinder it. if anything, it's just going to induced it.

i heard houses in tibet are cheap because it's scarcely populated......FOR NOW ;))) hahah

  • which cock??

mature enough compared to people who like to "fuck people up" on youtube hahahahaah!!

    that's youuuu (^_^)

btw, you know my other fantasies? to go to tibet and "hang around". i heard people needed money there ;))

it won't be a fantasy soon enough though :)

gurichori, please, we already know you. "WE".

  • who is "we" ??

    you and your fuckbuddies?

  • if i told you who is "we", then that'll spoil the fun, now wouldn't it? ;)

but i have a feeling you know some of them :)

  • @tnzn65 tbeggers on the dirt road are cheaper.

  • @DuhLie At least they have some pride unlike ur mom

  • @tnzn65 if that's what you call pride haha.

i guess it is. i mean, them begging for money and having hungry children, while glorifying some shiny-headed monk that never had to work in his entire life, who btw lives in an indoor paradise while his people arent......yeah, if that's not pride, i dunno what is. :)

  • Blinking your eyes once in a while would be a bit less creepy.

  • poorest video ever

  • Stop observing the world via TV tube, dumb american. Fucking USA created this financial crisis and now my whole family is suffering. Your USA killed sooo much people, that Hitler and Stalin envy

  • unit45x : a typical exiled tibetan with unrealistic dreams

Please keep playing with your "international community", or being played....

  • if you cry wolf too many times, nobody will save you when you really need it...

  • The Tibet Diary Wins America's Mainstream TV Awards

  • meaning it has never been thaught about at all.

  • Many foreigners' knowledge about Tibet is learnt from their domestic media. It is unbiased? Finally, some one come to Tibet to see and jundge by themselves and be able to answer this question.

  • The media does not speak about

Tibet but on the rarest of occasions. They don't care about it.

  • There is no question that the Chinese have invested heavily in Tibet, and that this has raised the average standard of living. There is no question that Tibet has Buddhists who are favoured by the Chinese Government. There is also no doubt the help harmed. Yet if the US or UK had interfered, would the results be any better? History says no. Was it acceptable to do nothing? History says no. This isn't black/white, or even grey. China's choice wasn't the least evil but it wasn't the worst either.

  • Unless you know those millions personally, that's just heresay. Frankly, I don't know what happens in every corner of Tibet and neither does anyone else, because nobody - even those in Tibet - can be in every corner at the same time. It might very well be a living hell for every Tibetan, but that's not relevant. What is relevant is whether you, I, the people in this video, or anyone else, can possibly know what anyone else truly thinks, feels or knows. We can't.

  • 2206411411: You are a lyer and your words are lies. Yes the is a question about whether any of the money that the CCP has spent in Tibet is of benefit tot the Tibetan people. The money has been spent for the benefit of the HAN!

  • How is it lying to say we cannot know what others think and feel? I'm intrigued and wish to know more about your psychic abilities. I said nothing about benefiting the Tibetans. I quite clearly said the average person. If you choose to read "average" as "those people I happen to favour", then the problem lies not in what I say but in what you hear, and I decline responsibility for that.

  • Woh, bravo.

Very clever insertion of Pro-chinese propaganda titbits every now and then, hallmarks of a very tactful government machine. Dont think we are fooled. I am ready to believe this whole trip was in fact arranged by agents of the PRC unless you can prove otherwise

  • watch kundun. just watch it and you will understand.

nothing can legitimate all the cruel things that happens to peaceful living buddhist monk.

  • You see? When anyone has a different opinion from the free tibeters he/she immediately become paid the communist government.

Considering these lowlives paid people to disrupt the torch relay, it's not surprising though.

  • America is starting to become more and more Communist and imperialistic and China is starting to become less communist and more respectful as a country. Western countries are scared... that's all. Paranoid western countries are trying to prevent China from maintaining superpower status by defacing China as worst as possible to the public. How come no western media is exposing the mass beatings and killings of Palestinians by Israelis(who just happens to be the US's ally)?

  • China will never get respect until it treats Tibetans with respect. Watch

My freely life in Tibet (8.53)

    It has Tibetans talking about

The NangPa La shooting. Beatings. Crazy prisons sentences for trivial things. Land confiscation. Forced resettlement. Torture. Forced sterilisation (without anaesthetic).

  • Keep lying, you red faced scum.

  • My freely life in Tibet (8.53)

  • Keep in mind, Tibet will always be an integral part of China. And Tibetans will be forming the geat China nation, like the other 55 ethnicities.

Of course those disapproving Tibetans may choose to go away to the West or any other part of this globe that are willing to accept them!

All thoughts & efforts to separate Tibet from China is simply an illusion. Resistance is futile!

  • kelana67: You sound like Hitler: Resistance is futile! Heil Hitler"!!!!

  • "[Tibet] is entirely closed & witnesses unimaginable things. In March 2008, 20,000 people disappeared with no trace during the upraising in Tibet. Individuals attempting to escape over the border are being shot like in a shooting-range.

We saw filmed material & photos taken out by refugees of Tibet. If a shown to a wider audience, all worldwide human rights institutions would unanimously respond to this crime against humanity."

  • HAHAHA 'Nzgav Spam'!! LMAO someone plz stop nzgav spamming the same shit everywhere!!

  • Why don't you just do that? Because the photos are too shocking to be shown to the world? WW3 will be resulted?

Why I always see ignorant and exaggerated lies whenever from people yelling 'free tibet'.

  • just think about a simple question.

why these guys can make these videos in tibet?

because everyone is welcome in tibet.

you can go there freely all the time.

plz plz plz, go there, go to tibet before you hate all chinese guys...

at least i think i am a friendly chinese.

we don't have guns like many americans do.

we don't intrude iraq to find if there is any weapons.....(and we all know, Uncle sam find nothing)

we don't send chinese militery to all over the world

  • the best way to understand this is to experience this. Being told that China is a mass murderer is propraganda to make you hate china. Go to china, go to tibet. See what its like. There are no soldiers who will gun you down because your tibetan.

  • Finally heard a rational voice about China and Tibet in this year.

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your honesty!!!!

  • Have you been to Tibet, it is not far way from your place! Just go and see with your own eyes. The door of Tibetan area in China is always opened to people from outside. People could travel freely within China. The modern highways, efficient airport and fast railway connected Tibet with other parts of China. It is not difficult to get there and see what is going on there indeed. Don't be fooled by stupid media.

  • Hell no! Chinese had culture and history for thousands of years and tibetans had none

  • do you even know history? or just blindly saying random crap. do you even know the history of Tibet. the reason why people are supporting, the reasin why our argument is so strong is because we have strong proves of our culture and history dating back to 3 thousands years from now.

  • i'm not saying timothas2008 is right. obviously tibet had culture beforehand. but that doesn't automatically mean it was an independent country(if that's what you were saying).

  • thats what i am saying too. We have proofs of it being an independent country and it was once bigger than china itself before the spread of buddhism in Tibet. We have fought with chinese so many times and have won many too. there are actually proofs of Tibet's occupation of some indian region at one of the Ganges harbour.

  • uhuh...

so show me the proof, why don't you?

  • if tibetan people want a independent nation they should get it. it shouldn't be up to chinese people if tibet get's to be it's own country it should be up to the tibetans. it's their land, let them do what tehy want how does it affect you in anyway?

  • I should ask you the same thing. How does it affect you? To be totally honest, I can't say the Chinese are completely right in everything they say, but Tibet is definitely a part of them, no matter the means. It's like saying, "Why can't Texas be independent? It's their state, it's their land, they have their own government...?" You know?

  • What about making China Town of New York a free independent state? Probably with political connection with the Chinese gov. The chinese gov is more than willing to dispatch troops there and help defending the ethnic Chinese there should the US intervene. Afterall, according to the American's standard, it is up to the people there to determine the fate of their own land.

  • What if ALL the Tibetans in Tibet said they was to be free from China, would that be ok?

  • tibet is blown out of proportion. there are 1000 of worst abuse in this world. some are even carried out by USA in the name of GWOT.

imo, tibet is only taking away attention from more serious matters the world is unwilling to face.

  • your right. It came at a time when the news was full of Americas economy in crisis or negative reports reports coming from Iraq. Now its Tibet.

  • I totally agree. If anything, there are a lot more other places in China that deserve much more attention for humanitarian aids!

And the Olympic torch through Paris provides so much more media spotlight than failed political promises by the new president, not to mention the highly publicized private life :-)

  • Iraq is bad and a terrible deed by the Bush Govt. Most American citizens (incl myself) speak up about it and are enraged and angered. The war in Chechnya was bad and the russians who spoke up (like Anna politkovskaya) were murdered. It is the responsibility of the citizens of a country to speak up. In China, dissidents are jailed for speaking up (like Hu Jia). If you love China, speak up and try to make it a better place rather than hide behind its economic progress.

  • Our point of view on the iraq war is 2 fold. For one, more then 50% of the American citizens supported the war at the beginning, believing the American war machines is undefeatable and democracy solves all problems. It wasn't until American soldiers are killed in large numbers and money start to drain in other parts of the economy that ordinary citizens start to be "angered" by the war. Do Americans really care about Iraqis? Personally, I think they feel American lives worth a lot more.

  • The second point is that despite of so much "anger" from the citizens, the war is continuing after almost 7 years. Does people in Washington listen? No. Do we see real democracy at work? No. No politician really care what the majority of people want.

  • We believe in action, not words. We love China, and we do so by working really hard to make life easier for everyone. Would it matter if we all dress up as hippies and sit around wave flags? No. And oh, we do speak up, it just turns out that you all chose to ignore our voices because what we say is not what you want to hear.

  • LOL,You are saying a lot here for one who does not believe in words. The action I see is people getting Jailed for asserting human rights. Sure that's easier for everyone. Yes Iraq war long and terrible but Tibet has been occupied for 57 years and there is huge public awareness that the Iraq war is bad. The point is that many American people distrust the actions of the govt regardless of economic good, but in China you take economic progress as an indicator of progress towards humanity.

  • LOL, I know I am wasting too much on Youtube, but oh well, what the heck.

I respectfully disagree. Tibet was not "occupied", that is a fundamental difference between our interpretation of history and yours, so it makes a conversation difficult to start with. Besides, American people distrust the actions of the govt, yet they demand that all countries around the word take into the american model and build political systems just as yours. I fail to see why :-)

  • I was reading the metro the other day and they had a poll about why people oppose the war. *surprisingly* people wanted the money spent on the war to be used for boosting the economy and making health care cheaper. are Chinese the only ones who understand that money is often the sole factor behind social infrastructures and progress humanity? I highly doubt so. Yet they are probably the only ones honest enough to admit so :-)

  • I think money is a factor, but not the only factor and that's what most people fail to see. I visited Beijing in 91 and again in 2006 and was astonished at the progress and it's commendable and remarkable. I only wish China well and continued progress. However, Tibet is a personal issue for me and why I feel so. I have criticisms of America, Russia, Britain, etc etc. But this topic is on Tibet and China. I'm happy to discuss my peeves on the US govt also :)

  • I've never visited Tibet and I am a Han, so the issue of Tibet is not "personal" to me, however being a Chinese I was in general interested in the topic. I have talked to many people in Canada and the US (through online forums and such). My impression is that 1. many are unaware what Tibet really was before 1959 2. Many fail to see that Tibet, in comparison to some other parts of China, are in such good conditions and treated with such privileges that is clearly unfair to the rest of us Chinese

  • 3. most people raised in the west (Tibetans-in-exile, or westerners who support Free Tibet because they have been fed of certain limited amount of information) believe that Tibet should have living standards comparable to the US, and this is not happening only because of the Hans.

Anyway, we could probably get into a really long conversation about all these...

  • I don't have anything against the American people, I think in general we all want our lives better and our family fed and cared for. I am just not a very big fan of people who have double standards, who act as if they know the absolute truth, and who act in ways as if they have the "moral authority" to do so.

  • Chinese people have a huge distrust in their govt too, but just as the Americans are not striking all over the country to force the current administration to leave office, we are not wanting our government to be overthrown either -- they have faults, they are not perfect, but we are fine with it for now because honest nobody will do much better. Why aren't the American's OK with what we do with our own country? To us non-americans, you meddle too much :-)

  • There are liberation movements in the US that get quashed -- AIM is an example. I feel for the Native Americans too. A lot of people compare The NAs with Tibetans but its not exactly the same. Tibet had a central govt. China mainly had to take over Lhasa. With the NAs there were many tribes with no central city or territory. This doesn't mean that they weren't wronged but there is a distinction. I don't agree with US invading Iraq the way it did either.

  • Ignorant American tourists by their own admission who didn't know a thing about Tibet and still don't. Do you think going for a few days and shooting a video gives you the right to make a judgement on the terrible tragedy unfolding there? Please don't denigrate something so important as people being brutalized and being sterilized. Next time go to the Tibetan settlements in India and talk with real people before jumping to dangerously wrong conclusions based on what you were "supposed" to see.

  • how many days do you think the other western journalists have been stayed in Tibet?

When they published something that were actually happened in Nepal, they claimed that was what they saw in Tibet China. what a shame!

If you do want to see sth that you are not "supposed" to see, go to Tibet. but donot sit in front of the PC and ignore the voice from 95 percent of Tibetan who are actually living in Tibet.

If u pro the other 5 percents, tell this to ur friends to see what happen.

  • I've been to Tibet my friend and to China and to the Himalayas, and I care about these regions deeply and have done so since my teens. Since when do you care? I suggest you wake up to the fact that your brain has been washed before its too late.

  • I am probably going to sound as equally brainwashed, but if I have interpreted correctly you are another Tibetan-in-exile or a friend with Tibetans-in-exile. I don't deny human-rights is an issue in China, but my friend you see what people want you to see and you hear what people want you to hear. China and its policy in Tibet is a very complicated issue. that cannot be simplified to "brutalization and sterilization."

  • Actually, by not denying that there is a human rights issue, you don't sound brainwashed and compared to most other people here, you come across as objective. It's the best I can expect, while I don't agree with everything you're saying. I also have very good Han Chinese friends, so while this is personal for me, it's not a jihad of hatred. Cheers

  • Should we Chinese be more concerned about human-rights especially its abuses all across China in the face of rapid economical development? Yes. Should we question the CCP's policy in Tibet, including how to make it a better place for all people, and to find out how we could divert the investment into Tibet to other regions of China which need a lot more help? Yes. Should we question what we hear from the CCTV? Yes.

  • Should you drop your moral superiority and listen for once? Maybe. Should you learn to hear what Chinese people of other ethnicities, and common Tibetan people think of the issue? definitely. Has many westerners' good-willed involvement in supporting the Free-Tibet movement been mis-directed and manipulated politically? I don't know, but I think that's a good question that everybody should ask.

Are we going to achieve a solution by slapping on others' faces on Youtube? that I know for sure, NO.

  • why bother to convince ppl? let the truth speak for itself. US econ's alreay gone down to drain and china's still rising. in 2 decades, evrything will be diff. eventually, tibetans will be wealthier than most americans and tourists will try to stay in tibet for a lifetime rather than regard it as some sort of preserved premature prehistoric culture for a week of summer vacations only.

  • Thank you for uploading the video! I enjoyed it a lot.
