@SgtCrazy1 I did it with a ray gun.. It doesn't have to be a scavenger, just something that will kill it, so porters ray gun(yes it must be upgraded) works too, or the dolls.

got good news guys, u don't have to use the scavenger in order to get the golden rod. u can use a ray gun or anything else that can kill the human transformed zombies right before it dies in the black hole.
