Whats the fennel for? I got everything in my kitchen currently except the fennel. I do have fennel tea bags though, should I boil that and add it? Is the fennel absolutely necessary? Can I add silver to this also?

@Dollaboy667 The fennel promotes lung health and aids in digestion. But you dont have to use it. I am not familar with the use of medicinal silver. But my guess if you have taken it before for this type of illness then it couldnt hurt.

Hey thankyou for this remedy! My throat's been completely covered in mucus ever since I went to Vietnam.I am going to try this tommorow but I need to ask, how many times a day should I drink this and should it take affect immediately?

@TheRetawes I would do 3 treatments a day till the symptoms subside. Make sure to stay away from dairy till it clears as well. I would say I felt some instant results but really felt it after the 2nd or 3rd treatment.

I have bad nasal congetion all the time on one side, I'm not sick but thos is something I do suffer with. How quickly does that totey take effect in adults?

@Remoteflpr you will feel some relief right away and usually you can feel the full effect after your 3rd dose.

@jerryxiong1744 Sure no problem: 1 grapefruit(juiced), 1 lemon(juiced), 1 garlic clove or kyolic drops, 1 dropper fennel tinture, 2- 3 drops peppermint oil. You can add honey for taste if needed but it can also aid in soothing the cough.

Mix with hot water like a tea.

@chitownkid59 fennel tunture. You its just a liquid form of the fennel in a dropper bottle. You can find it in health food stores or Whole Foods.

@c8uy not sure if it will work alone. I would defintely rub my back and chest down with Eucalyptus oil and also steam my face with it as well by putting about 8 drops in hot water in bowel and cover my head with a towel to catch the steam. I also wouldnt eat any dairy products until it clears up. And I also would drink lots of water. Making good bowel movents help eliviate symptoms

@c8uy Yes, I drank this during pregnancy before but not if you have morning sickness. I would use everything but the garlic. It doesn't react well with nasea.

Yes that is the spelling. The one I purchased was from the brand Herb Pharm. Trust that it is bitter and strong tasting but it works well. You've been warned.
