  • 1:09 OOHHH I think he is having a poo!!

  • Why the crap do you always shoot at such a high ISO?

  • @TheDoctorCHCH maybe for faster shutter speed to reduce chance of blurring...that's a telephoto lens

  • i think people are pished off at uncompelable. time to search for what he seid lol

  • what camera does kai carry

  • @shawngao777 550d

  • @HDCRdrummer now on page 6-7

  • thumbs up for this video, but i don't like the aperture at this lenses

... ... by the way! Does anyones knows the name of the song starts at 3:22?

I think thats the same song like in the original canon lense videos!

    :D

    <German :D

  • For fuck sake, now i have to search for Uncompelable comment >:C

  • iPhoto slideshow song.....

  • @TheSambond007

they use porn song too.. this is what digitalrev is.

  • Nikon really makes GooD.....Straps! :-)

  • Nikon strap on a Canon? 6:30

  • well done, nice to see you, regards from Russia

  • You think which is better EF70-300F4-5.6L or EF70-200F4L?

  • Funny enough about the "easier to travel part", I have a Lowepro slingshot 202 aw and the bag fits all my gear perfectly with the 70-300 but if i had a 70-200 with all their internal zooming, it wouldnt be able to fit at all. The other thing i wanted to mention was even with the aperture being relatively small, the IS does serious work and lets me get blur free images at incredibly slow shutter speeds.

  • Thanks for the video! I love photography! Check out my Canon 60D videos on my channel if you have nothing better to do with your time. :-)

  • where's Alamby?

  • nikon strap ^___^

  • Like the nikon Strap

  • the coulours seem totally poor and dont have any contrast :/ not a good lense at all

  • @furzflamme .... i can't believe you sad that

  • @TestMyDroid just look 1:42 , 2:10 3:39 .no contrast at all. so you need to photoshop all pictures

  • @furzflamme thats all camera settings

  • @TestMyDroid not sure about that but may be

  • @furzflamme well idk the lens captures the collors great

  • @TestMyDroid ok

  • @furzflamme those washed out colors are a result of the camera body. he is using a 550D

  • @1337mango ??? I am not sure why you say that about the 550D - it really should not make too much a difference in color.

  • F/4-5.6! How can you call that an L lens?!?! >:(

  • @SmellsLikeUpDawgg The 100-400L is f/4.5-5.6 so this is a improvement. Plus, Canon already has 300 f/4L IS, 300 f/2.8L IS which are rather expensive but those are primes. If they would make a 70-300 f/2.8L it would be a big lens, distorted at 300mm most likely and with a big price tag! I find the 70-300L lacks some contrast though.

  • Damnit Kai, you make me really fucking nervous when you don't use a neck strap while handling expensive equipment! Especially when you dangle it over a railing above water. Wear a neck strap for the love of god.

  • ma non ti vergogni con una 5d mkII a mettere una corda della nikon!!!!!!!!vai a zappare la terra contadino!!!!

  • how the name of the song?

  • WOOOw

  • why do you all keep wanting this freakn lens? I got it today for christmas, it's fucking heavy, it looks fucking rediculous around your neck on your canon, you'll get a sore back/neck/arm holding it all day or w.e. Plus you have to be like 10 meters away from something for it to focus and take a picture, i much prefer y cheap ass 55mm. no hate i'm just pissed i got this for christmas when i have a perfectly fine one.

  • @Uncompelable You should be grateful for whatever you got for Christmas some people don't even have clean water and you are complaining that you got a camera you didn't want? Your Mum and Dad or whoever went and spent that money on you and they didn't have to. You should appreciate whatever you get.

  • @xxshawnee3xx Omg seriously, the poor people have more of a social life and a life then us, do you realize how much this generation is wasting there life on Technology? Do you realize we aren't really lucky, we are just wasting life. Working every day, sleeping all night, on the internet inbetween, We connect more on facebook then in RL. IN fact i best every member of your family has there own technology they are attached to and on right now.

  • @Uncompelable Yeah I want to be a kid again, I miss the 90's so much when I didn't care about what was happening on Facebook or Twitter. Oh and I don't want this camera I was just on the video but if I got it for Christmas I would be grateful for it, I would be grateful for a packet of gum even though that isn't something I crave or whatever and this 'medical science' thing well is whatever that is possible to get someone? The point is you should appreciate anything you get because there is

  • @Uncompelable people without basic things. But about my family yeah I am addicted to the internet and I'm always on all day and night and my brothers have their Blackberry's and stuff but you are wrong about everyone because my Mum barely uses the laptop or whatever and my Dad never does he hates technology and personally I do too but I just can't give it up.

  • @xxshawnee3xx So yes, i am greatful. I am greatful that my life is wasting away on technology, that i can not breath fresh air and hunt for clean water. because if i do go out side i'd probably get robbed or bashed from the other "Lucky" people who live in my area.

I'd rather be a kid again, without technology, camera's or internet in my life. SO fuck that why should i be greatful? It's just plastic, don't waste your life on it. Once you drop it u realize you wasted your life on such a thing

  • @Uncompelable Are you not the doppelbieber? You seriously want to run around 'hunting' for clean water? That sucks man, I thought you'd be having fun roaming around whatever city you live in picking up girls and what not. I live in Sydney, if you don't want your lens I'll throw some cash up for it.

  • @xxshawnee3xx Don't waste your life wanting crap like this, infact i asked for nothing this christmas. And i'd be completely greatful WITH nothing. I'm just saying. I would appreciate things much more if they were something that i really needed. something i crave for, and i do have one thing, but only medical science can bring that to me. Not a peace of plastic and glass.

  • @Uncompelable woah jamie, if you dont want that. just give it to me :( that's my dream to have that thing T_T

  • @Uncompelable ooooooh... youre stupid...

  • @Uncompelable learn to appreaciate things kiddo :)

  • @Uncompelable if you wanna give it away, you know where to find me :)

  • @Uncompelable ungrateful dick

  • @Uncompelable fucking ungrateful rich spoiled bastard

  • @Uncompelable Your a fucking ungrateful retard attempting to force logic onto others with your shitty ass attempt at some wise sayings

Why the fuck are you on YouTube if you think technology is negatively affecting us? Why do you have a "cheap ass" 55mm lens?

You get something awesome for free on Christmas that causes you to get pissed.

Maybe you'll be happier if you get hit in the head.

People, especially the poor, learn to appreciate what they get, unlike you, cunt.

  • @Uncompelable haha am happy to take it of ur hands for £300 mate. its its for wildlife and sports. having the zoom makes it more useable than a frime 300/400mm 2.8

  • when u say pink tits, u sound like Moss from the IT crowd...bitch

  • Man falling asleep on a bench. Isn't really a rare species.

  • Which is better, the 70 - 200mm or this?

  • dis guy is funny but dis is a great lens, do dey hav it in blacc

  • @pocketzphat Y doez u type lyk dis? Really is it that much effort to use proper grammar?

  • perchè i commenti in casa ITALIA,sono tutti in lingua INGLESE? io non ci capisco assolutamente niente punto.

  • Is there's a trouble with the lens / camera used in this video ?

    The image looks somehow foggy...

  • 3:10 for some tits

  • Awesome Lens but not liking the Colour of it ! yeah am being gay or whatever but it just don't match with the Cam Body !!!

  • he always acts like he really doesnt give a damn about all of the gear

  • Great Vid :) Thx for sharing!

But I still think the only thing missing, to make your reviews perfect, is the VIDEO PERFORMANCES of the lenses & cameras

  • When will you review the Pentax DA* 60-250 f4. Pls do review other brand too, not only dominated w/ Canon & Nikon brands

  • 3:10 - Tits, pink tits! gimme some pink tits :D

    lol he's so pervert sometimes...

  • what lowerpro is that? help please thank you

  • 'i can see right up a birds backside'.. nice.. I want this camera!;)

  • glad you use, cheaper body now, not the usual 5D mark mark :))

  • Dont get why Canon made this.... should be at least a constant f/4.5 to be L class.

  • @Fogducker19 Had they made this lens a constant aperture, the price would have easily doubled. I was going to argue that for the price, you get 112-480mm out of an APS-C body and it's perfect for people who shoot wildlife. Bet then I remembered that you can get the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM for almost the exact same price and it's equivalent to 160-640mm on an APS-C body. They claim it's good for travel, but I would buy the lighter 70-200 f/4 L for that price.

  • which should i buy, this lens or the 70-200 f4 is

  • @Brandonmaieli

this for the longer 100mm of course

  • Is it bad that I wanted to see that kid fall?

  • Alan partridge?

  • Is this the T2i? North America

  • 6:36, the awkward moment when your reviewing a canon lens on a canon body and you have a nikon neckstrap :D

  • Were is that place? Looks so nice and peaceful i wanna live there..

  • Why is there still pixelation in the grey background graphics in 1080p ?

  • @ImperialPimp Youtube quality

  • Built to last a nuclear blast... or your DIY skills. NIYAHAHAHA.

  • thx 4 this awesome documentation :-D

  • 1.6 crop sensor = 112 to 410mm focal length.

  • This video is bloody crazy mate! You certainly are pucker of turtle swine!

  • Comment removed

  • I love how he call birds, Tits!

  • Bloody ugly lense compared to 70-200 4 or 2.8 L

  • this fits on a 550d right?

  • @helmetboy45

Yes, EF lenses fit on the 550d , This is the L series so ya

But EF-S lenses do not fit on full frame sensor

  • @helmetboy45 he was using a 550d in this vid!!

  • EF 70-300mm 4.0 - 5.6 v Tammy 70-300 4.0-6.3 :D

  • Is this in Hong Kong?

  • @Peiselkopp probably. seeing as he's an asian man with an english accent.

  • @Demosthenes409 Hum... I wonder where in Hong Kong this is... some Kowloon Park maybe...

  • he switched cameras...

  • is this worht getting for takking photos of surfing??? 70-200mm L USM F4 or could i get somthing like that will do the job??? or EF 70-200mm f2.8L USM ??? i want some 1 that can give me definite awners!! please help :)

  • What would anyone suggest for a rookie needing a good zoom on a low budget? The cheap version of this^? I want to get a 18-135mm, plus a zoom.

  • That is awesome!

  • maybe a bit dumb question but does a canon lense or any other lense fit on a nikon?

  • @Superpui42 canon lenses do not fit nikon mounts only a lens made by nikon, or a third party company that makes lenses with nikon mounts. companies like tamron make alot of good lenses that can be bought with nikon mounts or canon mounts.

  • @pootinhammer thx... finally found one made by tamron.

  • @Superpui42 The Canon lenses do not fit in a Nikon body.

  • the f/4 - f/5.6 is a design decision likely to keep the size/ mass down to keep it "travel friendly-ish". trade-offs, as usual...

  • Plese compare the 70-300mm Canon (non l) and Tamron

  • What camera bag is kai using in this video?!

  • ISO 1600 during the day ?? even at night i rarely go beyond 800

  • @Boodhunnilesh: with telephoto photography, especially at the apertures being shot at in this video, you need decently high shutter speeds (hence the higher ISO).

  • DigitalRevCom whats the best Lens and Filter Cap to use for taking landscape photos of sunsets and sunrise?

    Cheers

  • Comment removed

  • Why do u take pics at such a high ISO?

  • @coffieworld101 To take sharp images of course... Look at this lens aperture and focal length... Without a tripod / monopod, it will be a risk to take sharp images handheld with this lens...

  • @coffieworld101 that's the downfall of f4-5.6 glass...might as well get the 70-200 2.8

  • @coffieworld101 look at the 1st shot.. if he stopped stopped down further there would be motion blur and hand shaking.

  • @coffieworld101 Maybe you didin't watch the end, but he explains why he used a high ISO

  • @coffieworld101 most slow speed lenses need high ISO to get a fast shutter speed.

  • Please shorten the intro!! Nice, vid, though! :)

  • The difference of the non L lens is how they make the lens and i think the L lens it is more wide angle

  • @x5k1LL3r No, same field of view.

  • @TheCameraStoreTV Haha sorry Im just a 13yro :D

  • Why the fuck thi guy usually put the nikon belt on the Canon?

    It sucks

  • @Bistocracy Why is your spelling piss poor? It's Kai. It's what he does. Why can't he be original?

  • @killianUDOWN I really dont' think he is original, the messege in my opinion is "Canon sucks so I put the nikon belt"

  • straight out the camera I don't see any stunning photos here. For the price of this lens there should be some stellar examples of photos.

  • LOL! There is bird's shit on his jacket at 3:19

    Awesome review guys!

  • Hm witch Lens shoud i buy? This One or the 70-200 F4 IS?

But you make very very good movies ! Thats good

  • @palimpalim53 if i were you, i'd take 70-200 F2.8 non-IS. if you have shaky hands and not confident without IS, go for 70-200 F4 IS. IMO, the only difference from this and the non L version is build and weathersealing, IQ-wise they're pretty similiar one and another.

  • @bekk16 all Canon 70-200mm lenses are L

  • @DrAntcom i mean the only difference from 70-300 L (this) and the non L version. of course all Canon EF 70-200 are L lenses.

  • @DrAntcom i mean the only difference from 70-300 L (this) and the non L version. of course all Canon EF 70-200 are L lenses.

  • That lens worth like a car

  • why so high iso? it is not bad???

  • please put the lanyard of your camera D:

  • you guys should compare this lense to the 550 dollar 70-300mm version and the 130 dollar 75-300mm version! please!!

  • @ChrisCasaceli64 I am going to buy 70-300 because the image stabilizer

just for dath it worths te extra buck

  • @ChrisCasaceli64 There's almost no comparison because the $130 is absolute crap IMO.

  • I like the Nikon-lanyard on his Canon :D

  • not for me

  • @IproLegendHDz Yeah, but a constant f4 would make this lens about 3 times as big and heavy, and cost a lot more.

  • All the numbers you said made no sense.... wtf is 1kg in lbs and 1000 pounds in dollars??? Not everyone who watches these know bother the Metric and English scales...

  • @ElfenLiedPhsycoFan It's not his fault that Americans stick to their weird measuring units ;)

  • @meta1storm But it's simple =P

  • @ElfenLiedPhsycoFan Actually Metric is much simpler. Every thing is in Tens rather then the US customary/Imperial, which has the likes of 12in=1 foot or 3 foot=1yard. In the metric 1000mm=1 meter. 1000grams=kilogram. 10mm=1cm. It's much more simpler and easier.

  • @korp96 That is true, but the metric system is too precise for me XD I have no idea how many grams are in a pound or mm in an inch O.o too confusing for me >.> Like, if there isnt a whole number, I'm just gunna get to confused haha

  • Comment removed

  • @korp96 Ahh gotchya XD Thanks =]

  • "Tits! Pink tits! Give some pink tits!" XD

  • L lens and the front extends? No thanks. I'd rather use the 70-200mm which doesn't.

  • @teklegal A number of other L-series lenses extend too: 24-70, 24-105, 100-400. And having the lens extend keeps the size down for traveling and storage.

  • I am a starter in photography, can someone plz tell me why f/4- 5.6 is bad for this lens?

    Thanks :)

  • @TeenlovesJuri it's not 'bad', just not ideal for an 'L' lens. An aperture of 5.6 will mean that more of the image is in focus which isn't ideal for portraits when you want a blurred background. It also means that you'll need to use slower shutter speeds to get a decent exposure because of the smaller aperture which lets in less light - which also isn't ideal for low-light photography. It's still a great lens for the price, ideal for travel photography, but not as useful as a constant f4 or f2.8

  • @TeenlovesJuri because the aperture is very limited for the price you pay

  • Im looking to shoot short films, and i dont know wether to buy a nikon d5100 or a canon 550, please advice me to which one is best for me, and if you say Canon, which can is the best for films, thanks

  • @kam717 Canon....5DMKII

  • He's using a Nikon strap

  • wow the shots with this lens look amazing!

  • OW! THAT'S SHOTGUN! HAHAHA

  • Swatch watch hey...Go Tag Heuer instead.

  • lol

  • Great review and very interesting video not as boring as many others in here. It must be understood that this is a zoom f4.0-5.6 and cost much much less than prime lenses. It is also much lighter and shorter than primes of the same reach. In comparison with the other two standard 70-300, the quality and sharpness is much better with this lens.

Don't get into the hype, only buy the lens that meets your needs and your expense allowance. It's more enjoyable when you have less to fret over.

  • i guess thats what i get for commenting before watching
