  • Its horrible! The explanation veers off and also will explain in the module. Ah hello make it simple and short. The next module explain it more details. Blah, blah oh I'll explain in the module. Your repeating!

  • never mind, got it fixed, it just needed to be repaired through windows (XP that is)

  • Well us British didn't invent much - but we did invent packet switching!

Think its come to fruition quite nicely hehe.

  • @ChrizRockster Wut? We invented a shitton of stuff. Computers, televisions, telephones, the world wide web. Plenty!

  • @ImperialProductions

Telephone was invented by another guy, Bell stole the idea and presented it as his own in order to gain the patent. He simply got the idea into the post first. Prior to him seeing this idea, he was not into any such experiments! Not much to be proud of there really lol!

    Credit where its due though...

  • @ImperialProductions

...we did invent some great things. Although thats something we're good at, inventing then selling out to the highest bidder and losing control of the sales, manufacturering and total income to the UK!

I'm a student pilot and Aviation was one of our greatest pioneering areas of history!

  • good vid

  • Men, I have a question. I brought Network switch( Fast Ethernet Switch Brand), I want to set-up it, with my Laptop and another PC. So, how to connect both PC? Do I have to Change both IP Address to be same? or I have to install some program to with? Please Help please help...

  • great video. I have question. In one workstation having one laptop for my data and IP phone. How many RJ45 outlet do I need. Is it 2 or 1xRJ45 outlet needed. I will appreciate your answer.

  • Your question is unclear. As I see it you have 1 PC, 1 laptop, 1 IP phone unit. And I assume that you want to have all of them connected simultaneity to Internet. Well easiest way to do so is 4 port router which you connect through port WAN to the DSL/cable modem and ports 1 to 4 use for those devices.

  • hi there, you seem to know a bit about networking, i was wondering for my home network is it possible to connect a switch to another switch so for example if one switch was in one room and one was in another. and would the PC's connected off switch 1 be able to communicate with the PC's off switch 2?. i tried doing this with 2 routers but my PC's didnt pick up the other PC's on the second router even though all of the PC's were on the internet. cheers.

  • Yes, you can do it this way. Actually it is recomended - if you have 2 routers - to turn off routers functionality on the 2nd one, and use it as a switch. If you do so, be aware of congastion which will accure on the segment linking the first router / switch to the 2nd switch. Having a router as the first device on the network you can use a hub. But again - collisions :-)

  • awesome, thanks heaps for that mate:)
