i actually lived in warm springs from a month while i was doing private care. i lived in the 'dorms' at the rehab hospital. the water really is amazing... unfortuntely when you have an eczema flair up and want COLD water in WARM springs... you ain't gettin' it from the tap. LOL!
End the summer by taking a swim in the 88-degree warm springs made famous by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Normally kept empty, the historic pools will again be filled and open to the public for Labor Day Weekend. Swimming sessions begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday through Monday, and reservations are recommended. All remaining tickets will be sold first-come first-served. 706-655-5870
One of my good friends is in this movie. Her name's Georgia. She played Roosevelt's daughter. I remember when I first met her in 9th grade when I moved to Warm Springs, I couldn't get over the fact that she was in this movie! But she's a very real person. Now, I actually live 5 miles away from Warm Springs, in Manchester, GA.
Done! I thank you for your advice. I payed for this DVD a very hot price, but now I can't stop me to watch it again and again...As usual Italian TVs avoided to buy such a beautiful film!
Branagh looks nothing at all like Roosevelt, but still a good movie.

I wonder if Jane Alexander felt a sense of deja vous at filming this series

It is so strange to see Jane Alexander playing Sara Delano in this movie when she played Eleanor in the classic "Eleanor and Franklin" years before.

I'd never heard of it, but rented it - gave it a shot... What a pleasant surprise! Very moving! And classy.

How does Miss Nixon do it? She's like a female Edward Norton.
