well only 8 is kinda misleading. they dont tell you about the people who got injuries that left them crippled for life. things like large logs sticking through their bodies. all the way.

god that day was scary for pretty much everyone in iowa, those who survived were lucky

Fairly lucky for a tornado this strong. There were many people that would probably have died given their situation but survived.

The F5 in 1999 killed 36

This tornado was an absolute monster. Incredible photography from both sides of the storm. It reminds me very much of the Greensburg tornado on May 4, 2007. God bless the people of Parkersburg!
