Hey a little constructive criticism? When you use multiple types of transistion it detracts from the footage and is very dizzying to watch. You would be best to choose one simple transistion (such as fade) for each scene and one more complex one (such as flip) for changing the scenes and when you want to emphasise something. But i loved the use of photos instead of video, the expressions captured on their faces was awesome and powerfully moving. Well done and great song (songs?) :)

Yes, in all three "old" (or older than the latest 4th installment, which is a prequel to the first Anne of Green Gables movie) Anne movies, it is Megan Follows, who plays Anne. But the third movie was filmed kind of many years after the first two, so that's probably why you think she looks so different, but yet similar at the same time.

I've never really understood why the movies are different from the books they're based on. Some say that it's because they don't want the audience to expect what happens next because they know the story. But I think it would be better if they did everything according to the book. It would make much more sense. Who's Dominique anyway?

Dominique, if I rember correctly, was Jack's son and Anne promised to take care of him. As for changes, I can see your point, the last movie was not based on anything Ms Montgomerry had ever written but in a way it;s kinda nice too, as long as it is watched not as a "anne of Green Gavbles" but as a stand-alone movie only based on that universe. That said that, as much as I loved the books, the film was nice as well.

I prefer the books, i would prefer if they did it from the books. Anne and Gilbert have six children, all of their own. None were adopted. Plus their children were in world war 1, not Gilbert.

Actually there were 7, but the eldest died after only 1 day - little Joyce. You are right about the war - Jem, Walter & Shirley all fought in WW1. Walter died.

nevermind i found out...i'd rather another sequel instead of a prequel though...i haven't actually read the books though which i think i'm going to do this week but i love the movies!! the continuing story is probably my most favourite despite what everyone says!!

I read that they were casting for a new Anne Shirley for a new Anne prequel on the Avonlea Message Board, where I'm a proud member.
