what a great way to rediscover mcs. i listened to them in high school, then started listening to other music and me and them fell out. Now I'm trying to learn my favorite trampled song and stumble across this. Hearing this brought me to a pretty good place.

okay, i'm sick of all these die-hard bluegrass fans trying to say this sucks, hey i got a newsflash for you all, JUST because something isn't your style, doesn't mean it sucks. i really dig tbt's cover of "disappear", no, its not tht edgy yet catchy pop-punk sound that i'm used to, but it's talent, and i kinda like hearing a song i'm familar with being done in a different style. why can't you tbt fans do the same?! seriously, like respect other styles. and if you can't, y are u on this video?

I love both MCS and TBT. The original will always be better. But this is a honorable attempt.

When I first heard about this cover, I was quite upset.

I gave it a chance and loved it - still prefer the TbT version, but still fantastic.

Not bad at all, it's different definitely. I feel TbT's version has a better more raw, frantic sound. but this one is good in it's own right, just not as polished IMO.

It's a little rediculous to expect a cover to sound the same as the original. If it were supposed to, what would be the point?

@slimpyman I don't think that's really something to want. What we should really want is for them to do their own thing, regardless of what the band has sounded like. And according to interviews, that's the case since they've done it all on their own.
