good free r/c heli sim - FMS flight model simulator (you just need a two axis analog controller for the PC or a R/C transmitter converter)

not best for beginner...unless you have a simulator which your gonna want to get regardless. A heli with counter rotating blades could be easier to start with. I have a blade cp pro which is looks to be about the same thing as that.
