  • @adiostraitorobama This is structured illumination microscopy, which predates Bessel beam microscopy.

  • So heres how it goes. Cells are made of cells wich are made of cells wich are made of cells *4 days later..* wich are made of cells wich are made of cells wich are made of more cells....

  • "You can not stain those particals with your normal acid and analin dye stains as ive stated a thousand times your particals or molecular granular structures are smaller than your acid and analine dye stains so the mousie cant swallow the elephant, naturally. It can only be stained with a frequency of light. You use a monochromatic because a monochromatic light is a portion of the spectum".. "Royal Rife"

  • Everyone viewing this site NEEDS to research Royal Rife and see how good a light microscope can be.

  • @bk344 - interesting, thanks

  • neat!

  • To people not really grasping the multitude and the amounts of research data that is produced today. As a full time researcher in a field you have NO CHANCE of following everything that gets published. What you do then is turn to the mainstream media to see whats outside the particular field youre working in, or perhaps just because its more entertaining. Just because youre a researcher, you dont need to find all the litterature fun to deal with.

  • If you can trick light are we getting closer to tapping the speed of light?

    I wonder...

  • no, its the limiting speed of nature, the large hadron collider runs and 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999....on and on at the speed of light, but it is physicalle impossible to go faster (i think)

  • nice

  • this alone makes me want to apply to UCSF.

  • Fantastic!

  • very cool. i want 3

  • The purpose of this video is not to sell you lifestyle choices, but to give you material to create new thoughts. Read this sentence 10 times through.

  • Hahaha

  • I work in a lab and have gone through painstaking and time consuming trial after trial to get something to work because everything was theoretical. "lets see if this works." "lets see if that works." I have wished time and time again I could just look at the cell and see whats going on without guessing. Maybe this is the dawn of that revolution.

  • haha liar lol

  • what makes you think this person's a liar?

  • i dont mean to insult yotube but their is no researchers on youtube and the few their might be would never comment.

  • What makes you think scientists or researchers are rare? There are plenty of us.

There are even YouTube channels devoted to what's happening in latest research.

  • kk you are a researcher ur job is researching u should know all about ur job and stuff that may come out to help ur job and if u dont then ur horrible at ur job and should be fired. yea devoted for the latest research whoa re the ppl in the video the researchers these channels are to inform the public not co-workers

  • hmm maybe most of them have channles for home use not work think about that assbag

  • honestly, do u really think that a scientist's first time seeing this kind of stuff would be on youtube? like seriously 4 years or more then university and he does resaerch on youtube hahahah

  • 83679, the standard way to learn is not to badger researchers (too much), but to go to college. You can find Stanford University and Berkeley University channel have biology courses on youtube. There are also many other educational resources on the web, another thing you could do is apply to your local college, or even get involved in some research yourself, there are lots of projects which need volunteers to collect bugs etc. it's how many of the best scientists get started themselves.

  • how bad of a scientist must u be to go to youtube for info about science lmfao he must have been in university for over 4 years and he shasnt seen this stuff before ive seen this stuff on some childrens show when i was younger.

  • person's ok good thing to know hes more then one person

  • I'm pretty sure I do research. I mean, I go into a lab every day and do a bunch of stuff. Sometimes we figure new stuff out. If I weren't it must be really embarrassing to the journals that have my name in them.

  • Thanks for the video.
