Except with Symbiotes... There would only be 1 maybe 2 colors.... Every person that has been infected by a symbiote has had a max of 2 colors. Venom turning Spiderman's red/blue outfit into a dark almost black blue-violet outfit. Carnage Taking a similar design but making it Red because that was his symbiote color. Anti Venom(not sure if hes truly a symbiote or what) is Black and White. So Unless Captain america is made of multiple symbiotes he would not be his original color only darker.

Lasher was a green and grey symbiote, riot was purple, scream was yellow-orange and hybrid was a dark red-maroon not to mention the other symbiotes from the planet of the symbiote comic series.
