Gotta admit I hate that closure. I guess it works on this bag but it's the reason I haven't bought the backpack. I keep looking on eBay for one of the older backpacks with the good closures. I do have one of your briefcases and it is fantastic and I have a dufflebag on the way!

@wtfttfg I just bought a Saddleback backpack, and I'm happy to say that it no longer uses this closure. The side pockets have the belt and buckle closure like the main pocket. (The pictures on the website haven't been updated.)
