I looked at the invoice and yes it was labeled as a BR battery tray for evo 8/9. That was a mistake on our part. Ever since he had the trays made he has always sold them as the RT battery tray not the BR.
@ReeseTuned that's not what I'm hearing from people in the scene. They have never hear you clarify that it's a design that's similar or that it's your design. You have clearly sold and passed off this part as a BR part. I know that for a fact as I have heard it.
When we were out there for the BR Shootout in August there was a customer of yours there and his car was being a bit of trouble so James offered to tune it out of the kindness of his heart. You said that he gave you a rom and then you tuned it off that rom. Sorry to say that you are incorrect. I was there and watch James get in the car and tune it right there on the dyno. After he put his Rom on it you never touched the ECU after that.
David I do understand the frustration that you have with James. Yes our RT Battery tray is a replica of yours. Different companies always make replicas of each others product. There is no way around that. James should have made our tray look different by cutting some of the material off or what ever he wanted to make it look like his own.

I was about to rip away all the Buschur parts off my DSM when I heard that racist rant blurted out in anger that had nothing to do with the issue at hand. It is expected and understood that when people get mad the worst of that individual comes out, but I thought of David Buschur was a human being with much higher etiquette than James Reese. What I am trying to get across is that you are wrong about him tuning that car and he was wrong about making a direct copy of your part. I looked at the invoice and yes it was labeled as a BR battery tray for evo 8/9. That was a mistake on our part. Ever since he had the trays made he has always sold them as the RT battery tray not the BR.

When we were out there for the BR Shootout in August there was a customer of yours there and his car was being a bit of trouble so James offered to tune it out of the kindness of his heart. You said that he gave you a rom and then you tuned it off that rom. Sorry to say that you are incorrect. I was there and watch James get in the car and tune it right there on the dyno. After he put his Rom on it you never touched the ECU after that.

David I do understand the frustration that you have with James. Yes our RT Battery tray is a replica of yours. Different companies always make replicas of each others product. There is no way around that. James should have made our tray look different by cutting some of the material off or what ever he wanted to make it look like his own.
