Leo, what about being able to use such footage under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976? This section describes that allowance is made for "fair use" of other people's material for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. I feel that the Shakedown qualifies as Educational- and as such, would work under such rules. But, I'm not saying, in absolute terms, it would. I'm just suggesting that FLD looks into the idea to make the Shakedown better.

Leo love the show but the HPD is a lot more than just an update to the Courage LC75. Even the first iteration called the ARX-01, the aco asked for it to be rehomologated. The ARX-01b was rehomologated as it had even less components shared with the LC75 it was derived from. ARX-02d has moved even further away from the LC75. I think the only parts common are the exterior surface of the center monocoque. Even the aco recognizes them as different cars entirely as the HPD needed a new crash test.

Oreca bought out courage in 2007 I belive so its pretty easy to figure out where the backbone for that chassis came from. Like the acura, the Oreca had enough modification to be rehomologated. Acura (HPD) did have a bespoke chassis made when they went P1 two years ago when Wirth build them the ARX-02a. Like Audi and Pug, a bespoke chassis is the route to go when you want to optimize the chassis and engine together as a package rather than compromising one or the other.
