I don't think we'll be able to say yet whether this was a good move or not for the Bucs in the long run, but I really think it was dirty of the Glazers to wait as deep into the post season as they did to fire Gruden and Allen, because this is going to make it very hard for either of them to find a job for next season. I love the Bucs, but I think this was an asshole act and a show of pure classlessness by the front office.

The firing of Jon Gruden was a mistake by the Bucs.

What's puzzling about this is not the firing, but the timing and the new hire.

A 60-57 record in 7 years. 4 winning seasons. 3 division titles. 1 Conference Championship. A Super Bowl victory. Not bad statistics.

Morris is going to have some very, very big shoes to fill in Tampa.

Gruden will definitely get another shot in the NFL. He has been very successful everywhere he has gone.
