Is it just me or when you say your dogs name at least 2 times in a row they always give you the, "can I get a fucking second here?" look. It always cracks me up, because I would give someone the same look if I was dreaming about maiming the squirrel climbing the tree.

have had 4 rotties over the course of 16 years. Awesome animals, we lost 2 to cancer and 2 to torsion. They are so special and often misunderstoon. There are no bad dogs only bad owners!

Doe eens een salto achterover ofzo... hahaha ja tuurlijk baas, op commando zeker? doet die van mij ook niet... maar wel een mooi beest met staart, al vind ik het er nog steeds raar uitzien. (de mijne heeft ook een staart en ik vind het na 3 jaar nog steeds maf om te zien, ben zo gewend aan het oude "model" rottweiler)

rackingmajor..in australia docking was only made illegal in the last few years..here its mainly younger dogs that have their tails.only older ones are tailess..bit of info for you..me?..id rather no tail..just makes a rotty a rotty

hey man kan ik je ff wat vragen, ik heb nu al paar dagen een rottweiler, hij is 7weken en nog niet zindelijk.. kan je me mischien uitleggen hoe ik mijn rottweiler zindelijk kan maken? want ik heb echt geen idee wat ik moet doen. dit is me eerst puppy, hiervoor heb ik een duitse herder gehad alleen hij was al 1jaar toen ik heb kreeg dus hij hoefde niet meer zindelijk te worden, dus ik heb al aardig wat kennis opgedaan van honde. ma goed hoop wat van je te horen peace naar jou EN je rottweiler ;)

Jazeker, geen probleem :-)

Ten eerste, zelf hadden we onze rottweiler ook pas toen ie al 3 maanden was en hij was ook redelijk verwaarloosd, wat betreft opvoeding. Ze hadden 'm gewoon als pup in de tuin lopen, zonder begeleiding of training. Bovendien woonden we toen ook nog in een appartement, maar die had gelukkig een lift :-) Het duurde daarom wat langer dan normaal (meer dan 3 maanden)...

Ten tweede...

Dit is wat je moet doen: Iedere keer als je 'm betrapt, dan hou je gewoon snel je hand onder z'n buik (dan stopt ie meteen uit reactie), en vooral niet straffen. Dan ga je meteen naar buiten en geef het commando dat ie moet gaan plassen, net zolang totdat ie gaat plassen. En dan meteen belonen met een aai of knuffel en iets lekkers.

Herhaal dit net zolang totdat ie zindelijk is. Da's alles.
