I thought his name was "Herringburg" and that was why the crowd went nuts. Without meaning to, it sort of referenced the Herring joke that Search for the Holy Grail is known for. But I looked up the last name (Which was spelled Ehrenburg) and I found the name Ilya Ehrenburg. He was the top Soviet propagandist during WW2 who was a Jew. Either way you look at it, the reference was just ironic and made it that much funnier. XD LOVE this show.
Is anyone else envying Steve Erinberg right now? I mean how many Broadway shows allow a member of the audience to come onstage and allow them to be a part of it for a few minutes?
@CamflougedZut At random or at least it's someone different in the front row every show. I've seen it be an older lady and also seen it be a young kid who was terrified of being onstage. I always hope to go on stage, but for some reason, I don't think they'll ever uncover CC 2032 or an equivalently bad seat.
@BudhaVids Must be because his name is Jewish. Plus much of the audience may have been Jewish too, considering how much they loved the "You Won't Succeed on Broadway" routine because it was full of Jewish jokes, Tim Curry looked like he nearly lost it and laughed because of this.
@bunnyndisguise i am doing this production at my high school at the moment opening in three weeks and we all take turns in rehearsal doing that it is one of the funnest bits of the show :)
@hamletisastud no i saw it back in 2007 or 2008 and the seat was B101 and it was a diffrent person they pull up who ever has the seat cause i knew someone who got pulled up while tim was still in it back in 2005
@austproductions i looked up on wikipedia that when they did their tour in England's West End the clues were BONE (seat B-1), CONE (seat C-1), or DONE (seat D-1). Audience participations are so awesome, especially if you're on stage with a big name actor(s) like Tim Curry. What an honor that would be.
I wonder who caught the bouquet.

At our show the guy had 'St George' as his surname, and Arthur quickly yelled "IT'S A SIGN!" and all the knights all knelt to him
