  • Wow! That was rather fascinating. Obviously a ninja couldn't walk around town dressed in all black with a face mask on. So was the idea just to blend in? Would he be dressed normally and then throw his hood on when he's ready to do his dirty work?

  • @ZNOLMT thats correct! the dress is normal, the only change is the hood (which is still ok in normal dress!) and ink on the face. So when he is ready off he goes in In-nin

  • I read that a dual purpose to using indigo dye in the ninja's tengui was because it would help purify water when filtered through the cloth. It says this on the Iga ninja museum website. There is alot of cool bits of information on that site, about the ninja's diet, medicine, etc. Do you know how much of it is accurate?

  • @sonicredcr this is a problem, i can not get into their collection yet! i am building a relationship with them but its still just starting.

  • why wouldnt it be black or other colour under wear, or where there no other, just white , cause it didnt matter?

  • @murrik when a night raid oir fighting started then they would take the tops back so all the troops were in white so you did not kill your own men.

  • that was cool
