Cause I have an 80 gigabyte PS3, and my dad is worried that I'll run out of space. Though, I'd like to use this. The first time I tried it, it seemed to take up a lot of space for just one room. Please help

Home itself is free, but you have to buy extra clothes and furniture, etc, which is optional.

Try it now. It;s much better. It was so hard to get on because millions of people wanted to get on at once in each country and the servers at Sony weren't ready for such a huge crowd.

This is def something that some people will find incredibly stupid but others will find amazing. Its somewhat like the Sims and I personally am addicted to that :P I can't wait to get my ps3 this x-mas and try it out, i've been drooling over it since the preview in GI a while back. great review.

Yeah, I think it's pretty cool, but of you don't like it, then don't use it (that was to all the haters out there). But I like The Sims too, so if you do then you should love it. and dew does kick ass :P

IMO home is total BS. Its a glorified noob fest. When I tried the Beta all I saw were massive groups of people standing around doing dancing emotes and saying 'lol u look gay haha'

Wow...

Female avatars are instantly flocked too by hordes of loser asking for 'asl' you have to spend real money for clothes and furniture and all the in game posters and videos are very low quality.

My verdict, is that Homes only use is keeping noobs out of game servers, so I don't have to deal with them

Yeah there are a lot of idiots on there, but keep in mind it just launched. Sony will always be updating it with new things to do to keep everyone occupied. Once you find some cool people it's really fun. Again, keep in mind that the videos and all that will be updated too. And Sony has to make money somehow, and it's not like the clothes and stuff is expensive. Most clothes are 50 cents.

Yeah you are right, I think I'll appriciate it more when they get some content up like games etc, as long as the games are free to play.

Also, when its out of beta I hope it makes changes to the PSN service as a whole, maybe go a bit more in the direction of XBL if you know what I mean?

Yeah, the games should always be free. XBL is awesome, but PSN is alright now, considering it's free. The PSN will improve in time though.
