ok, so im terrible at sand shots, i have a clevland 56 and its pretty wore down im sure the club is not my problem i have tried to open the face on my club but all that does is knife the ball left, i practice these shots alot but to no luck. i find myself in the sand alot but generally take two strokes to get out, if there is any technique or hints they would be greatly appreciated. I really would like to save as many strokes as possible...Im also left handed is why i knife it to the left.

@141241x you dont want to shift your weight in a sand shot you only want to swing your arms because you don't need distance and it helps you stay down on the ball and get more consistent strikes
Easy to say behind the computer...I bet this guy could take your money all day on the course. I was thinking how good his swing looked actually.
If you actually followed the blog where these videos are originally being posted you would see this guy worked on the PGA Tour for 4 years and is very accomplished at what he does.
