The point of the video is that Islam is the only religion that can accomodate the concept of natural selection into its beliefs. The practical significance of this is that someone who believes in evolution can become Muslim without giving up all of their beliefs. They just have to understand us as the creation of Allah, and evolution as His tool. He created us, and he created us separately from the animals. As for the animals, they may have evolved. So what?
