And to all of those who are confused. Go back and reread the last chapter of Jacobs book. It says that Edward staves the syringe into Bella's heart. It also says that he goes around her body bitting her in different places. Licking the venom (over the part he bits) to seal in the venom.

It amazes me how the ones that say they have read these books numerous times can get the story so wrong. If you really did read the books did you just skim through them? Is your reading comprehensive skills l

Actually Bella never dies. In the book it goes into strong detail about that scene and even the movie discloses it. Bella's heart NEVER stops beating. (until her transformation was complete) Therefore she NEVER did actually die. Just so you all know that. :)

HE PUTS THE VENOM FROM THE SIRINGE INTO HER HEART AND THEN STARTS SEALING ALL THE WHOLES HER BODY HAS WITH HIS VENOM BECAUSE THE VENOM CAN CLOSE THE HOLES.
