If this is the crime, Courtney should have gotten 14 months in Federal prison like Madoff is going to get. Susie

Alan Courtney asked for probation so that he can begin to get the pieces of his life put back together again. Never mentioned how the victims will put the pieces of their life back together. Three victims dead because of Courtney. How do we tell them how to put their lives back together? They are dead. They have no life!

How is it LEGAL for a judge (lawyer wearing a black robe), to deny a parent the right to their own children? Why are the citizens so damn meek? They should have stormed the courthouse long ago and taken matters (justice), into their own hands.
In the defense of many of those apparently corrupted in Cali, there exists a background group of organized crime that can make their lives, and the lives of their families miserable if they do not go along with 'the program'.
'They have ways of making you go along.' a very serious carrot/stick approach.
