Due to time and money constraints I drove through only 2. I happen to've gone to college in upstate NY, grad school in NYC, and I was raised on Long Island. I have about 100 friends in upstate NY, 100 in NYC, 100 on Long Island, and 100 everywhere else. I would love to do the trip again. It was a truly an amazing experience. I think I'll go again in 2 years, plan a little further in advance and travel farther.
I know it sounds strange, but I highly recommend anyone take a "facebook road trip." You learn a lot about social networks, but you also learn a ton about the quality of your friends, who you are, and how you've developed as a person. Its like fast forwarding through a life time of social connections in one week.
Interesting film! I think everybody is creating in a way their own virtual identity...could imagine behind all those faces on socialnetworksites everybody has their own life in the real world, which is totally different from those sites.
I've been on You Tube for 2 years. Then last Christmas, I drove from Atlanta all the way to Denver to meet a friend who I admired on You Tube. He and I had a fun time making some special effects movies!
i really enjoyed this and am about to embark on a road trip of my own. Great inspiration!

I read about your video in a newspaper in Belgium called 'metro' (they give it away for free on trains)
I think your vid will start snowballing pretty fast now :)
