In the first CD when you do the SeeD mission in Dollet Tower, you have ti extract the ''????'' magic that the Elnoyle has got.

By the way, if you killed the Elnoyle from the Dollet tower and you didn't extract the ''????'' you won't have a second chance because that Elnoyle is the only one that has got the G.F. Siren.

Where is the card mod?

It's hard to get dragon fangs from T-Rexaurs. You only get them at lvl 20-29 with a 1/5 chance drop. You can Card them to avoid gaining exp. They also drop dino bones which refines quakes which is very good for HP and strength.

You can also get fangs from Grendel under lvl 20 outside Galbadia Garden.

dragon fangs are hard to get in the beginning of the game, but later (while training on the islands) you get so many you dont know where to put them.

For moding magic, you can get Curagas from tents 20 to one if you have the money for all the tents it will take. (if you have such a high seed level and have been running around playing cards, then you probably do.)

Also, if you want the 2nd level spells, you can get those from cards.

Bomb card=Bomb fragment=20 Fira

Glacial eye card=Arctic wind=20 Blizara

Creeps=Coral fragment=20 Thandara

You can also get the 3rd level elemental spells from cards, but I am about at my character count limit.

3 Hexidragons=1 fire fang=20 Firaga (terribly inefficient)

Snow lion=North wind=20 Blizaga

Blitz=Dynamo Stone=20 Thandagas

Also you can mod Abys Worm cards in to windmills witch will become 20 Tornados

Finally, if you have the denizen of the magic lamp and get his Time mag RF, you can mod dino bones in to 20 quakes. You can get dino bones either 1 for 1 from Armadodo cards or 1 for 2 from T-rexaur cards.

30 Gayla Cards will refine into the ONLY magic you'll ever need to junction to your Vitality for the rest of the game! 1 Gayla Card refines into 10 Meltdowns. I think 100 Meltdowns boosts vitality by 80.

The monsters level up with you either based on Squall's level or your current parties average level. the exp system in FF8 is kinda broken but meh lol you can level up insanely fast which can either make the game easier or harder based on your skill level

Why'd you suggest card modding the minimog card? if you lose the minimog card to the queen of cards (at balamb train station) then she creates the kiros card for you to go pick up which can be modded into 3 accelerators to teach gfs auto haste.

Buy 30 Tents

One Tent is 10 Curagas, so 30 Tents is a full 100 for all three members of your main party

Also, 5 Abyss Worm cards = 100 Tornado, which is one of the best spells you can junction at the moment. Even better than Quake, I think

I don't mind the leveling at all, in fact that was quite interesting seeing what all you could get off those T-Rex's and the cards. I never actually got the Quistis card before.

What's even the point of leveling up your characters if the enemies also level up with you.

And the magic is like using items you either found or stole off enemies.

Though I'm cool with the story and characters, neither one of these effects this.
