  • @bfs1888 Sorry you don't like it

  • i´l just love those tunes man!! thank you! you are kicking ass!

  • this is really great!

  • Wonderfully played medley on a lovely pipe organ. Reminded me of my Godfather, the late great Reginald Dixon on the Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer in Blackpool.

  • @gymnos2010 Thanks for your comment. Reginald Dixon was a real showman and I have one of his CDS somewhere. I'm classically trained so playing in theatre organ style is not something that comes naturally to me. But unlike certain classical organists, I love theatre organs. I've never played on a Wurlitzer yet but I've been on a Compton which is almost as good. I would be proud to have someone like Mr Blackpool as a Godfather!

  • @zippylad77 Thanks for responding. I had a feeling that you would be more of a classically trained organist. So many of those can't seem to do anything but play from the sheet music in front of them. Theatre organs require much more improvisation and personal style. You certainly managed to add your own style to this recording and made it very enjoyable indeed. It's a pity that more large traditional pipe organs are not put to such use more often.

  • @gymnos2010 Yes I agree! I think my style of playing is neither one thing nor the other. I do like to put my own interpretation into whatever I do as much as possible. Ok if I'm playing Classical organ music then I do respect what the music dicates. However I do have a range of interest outside the classical field range ranges to more popular music and elements of jazz and ragtime. And what I like about playing more modern tunes on the organ is that it allows for greater creativity

  • Especially when you're doing a piece of music that wasn't originally written for organ and you're just trying to adapt. Anyway thanks for your subscription..and I promise to do more similar stuff as on this video in the future!

  • Absolutley Fantastic! Loved it :-)

  • @007vauxhall and Rob Thank you very much!
