The location was a pleasure to visit, where you could enjoy all the flight operations up close and personal while eating a delicious portion of french fries with all the trimmings.

That was not a UFO but a real aviatior showing all those guys and girls how to make a good approach and landing :)

maar er is nog een prachtige plek, en dat is de zwanenburg baan--> ga dan naar locatie 18 c, daar zit een weilandje waar je je auto kwijt kan en het is daar geweldig om te zien hoe de vliegtuigen

Hangt af vanuit welke hoek je het ziet mijn vriend... :-) Bij de Aviodrome zeggen vele mensen dat zij het een prachtig ding vinden... Eigenlijk is de 747 gemaakt voor militaire transport en niet voor de burgerluchtvaart,dat zou ook een van de redenen zijn. Persoonlijk vind ik het wel een "machtig beest"... Theres at least two places in LAX airport for spotting. I dont know the exact locations, but one offers a view of the entire South side of the airport, and the other spot lies under the glidepath of Runway 24R, and there is an In N Out burger nearby, so you can have a Double Double and have planes fly right overhead!

The KLM 747 at the end of this video has a white nose. KLM should repaint that nose to match the colour of the rest of the fuselage, it doesn't look good with the white nose. (I assume it has a white nose because the original nose maybe had to be replaced).

Con "Where in the world" queria referir al previlegio que tiene la gente aca en Holanda,de parar o sentar en sitios ESPECIALMENTE CONTRUIDAS para ver o admirar estos naves muy de serca. La diferencia es que en San Martin y muchas partes pasan por encima y desaparecen detras las puertas frente la pista; aca el publico pueden ver la aproximacion final comletica hasta el momento que evacuan la pista.

The Kaagbaan was a spotters dream, unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see it. My first trip to Amsterdam/Netherlands will involve a spotting trip to Schipol, IMO the best spotting airport in the world.

Well...my enthousiasm for F.S. started in 1997 after i saw some guy's flying a DC-9 on a very big screen during some event at the Curacao World Trade Centre,so that is about 10 years ago...! But i was not so good in that,due to lack of time.Now living in The Netherlands i started real serious with this hobby,and that was around 2004 / 2005. With other words i'am really bussy with F.S. for not more than 3 years.But in real aviation i flew my first "solo" in 1971...(!!!)

I agree with you...but at the other hand..i can understand that Schiphol is a very big bussiness concern, that need to make money..lot's of them! While they cannot earn not even a penny with the "spotters".. Like i mention in the video; Polderbaan has lot of action,but not so much as what we used to see alongside the "Kaagbaan".
