  • very bad play of Eastgate , he win the hand on the flop he just had to bet it ... i dont belive he win the wsop

  • Very high price for just two outs it seems to me. Idk how deep they are, but he must win about 700k if he catches to get even, don't seem possible. Maybe expecting to get the river free ? Or maybe he simply made a mistake, thinking the odds are too good to fold his hand...

I think I don't like how he plays it. If he realises Eastgate fold a deuce, odds Dwan is on A2 are very slim, and I think Dwan reraise TT preflop almost all the time. The turn was a good spot to ship it after all.

  • I would of lol'd if a 4 came on the turn. Dwan would of lost so much money.

  • Flop reminds me of Doyle Brunson's hand. LOL.

  • lol true :D i would have loved to see brunson in with T2 :D

  • I think i have assembled the puzzle but I just miss one piece, why Greenstein calls on the flop ? Esp. to fold to Dwan's turn bet which is rep. much less strengh than the flop raise...

  • Actually after Eastgate checked called, BG knew Aces were not ahead, but he called 27K to catch an A, and hoping to get a lot of value against PE if he does have the 2. (he explained it in an itw)

  • Don't know why, but just love it when Gabe says "Peter Eastgate releases!"

  • A walk in the park for Dwan. He's smarter than all of the top pros. The best player in the world today.

  • 1. Eastgate's bankroll is not near as deep as Dwan so he will not be so cavalier with his money.

    2. A million players saw the flop and Dwan re-raised the preflop raiser who certainly isn't c-betting air into a zillion players with about a million guys behind him left to act.

    3. Icegate has like the nut low 2.

    4. Dwan fires again, despite Peter flatting behind him, which usually means great strength on the part of Eastgate. If Peter and Dwan know how small his range is, then wtf can Dwan have?

  • The people who are criticising Eastgate's play clearly never play much ring game NLHM or if they do are losing players. Please feel free to stack off in an 8 way flop with trips and no kicker anytime you like - you keep the game going.

  • Man has stones... If he would of gotten calleed people would be saying "wtf, donkey" however, he knew what he was doing.

  • Did these fools really think that Dwan would pop it on the flop with A powerhouse like tens full on such a nonthreatening/ draw free flop. A very bold c-bet indeed on the turn but Dwan knows that Eastgate is a knucklehead weakish player with no imagination whatsoever. Dwan knows that greenstein knows that he can easily have a duece in his hand given the meek opening raise under the gun. Stein smelled a deuce with so many in but he foolishly played like a passive goat

  • absurd

  • ridiculous

  • I take back what I said about Eastgate. It is not a moronic play, rather, I am moronic for suggesting it was. Dwan simply outplayed him. Dwan manipulated him, and created doubt. It's an incredible, exceptional piece of card playing. However, the pros who watch this video (and they ALL watch these videos), will capitalize against Dwan down the road IMO because of the way he plays.

  • Barry is right, he knew someone had a 2. Eastgate's play is absolutely moronic - he is a complete imbecile.

  • i personally could not lay down three 2's (bcoz im a donk) but i understand how eastgate folded here.

in his mind, durrr is not betting 100k with a mere pair of 10's. he either had 1010, high pockets, or a better deuce.

eastgate should have realised durrr was the one betting and not BG (a tighter player that could actually have a better hand than his 42).

  • Good point.

Dwan has ascended to no limit's highest perch because he creates that train of thought in many of the hands he participates in, and more so that his competition. He is a crafty, manipulative SOB. He is excellent.

  • Also, when Gabe Kaplan says "I don't understand why Dwan would raise that much money," that's exactly why Dwan is making millions and millions and millions of dollars more than Kaplan at playing no limit hold em.

  • the most impressive play i've ever seen, Dwan is the new Stu Unger, the biggest brain in the game! ...amazing

  • that's why he's world champ and you are commenting on an online video. I think nearly every good player folds it there as well.

  • not really... brunson bet 10K $ because he think peter didn't have 2 in his hand....

And evryone was laughing peter because he folded this...

he just have luck once but he is not a wolrd class player....

  • dont compare this dwan with the best ever stu... dwan will never win a fuckin WSOP.... stu win 3 ...

  • Durrr is siiiick, great play!
