Please do yourself a favor... Go to your local theater on January 27, 2010 and see Fathom Events presentation of Der Rosakalier with Susan Graham and Renee' Fleming. It is glorious! We saw it yesterday, LIVE from the New York Met at Lincoln Center and it was wonderful. You can go to FathomEvents(dot)com for more info. We will see the Encore performance as well. A treasure... and you will love it.
I saw the live performance in the movie theater on HD as well and it was nothing less than spectacular. Susan Graham and Renee Fleming were absolutely marvelous.!!!!!!!
I wish there was an emoticon for my jaw is on the floor with tears running down my face, because I could use one right now. this was stunning.
I searched for Graham and found Bonney (who I had not heard before), both pillars of the art form. And this was Graham 13 years ago, she's done nothing but go up. I can't wait to see her sing this at the Met!
Un peu lent, mais magnifique. Qui dirige?
Pour les nostalgiques écoutez E. Schumann et M. Olsewska .....1933

Who is the conductor? Susan Graham's outfit is perfection for this, especially the top. Beautiful rendition from all.
