Was in Incheon airport waiting for my plane, when i saw a group of SIA girls (and not forgetting guys) walking gracefully down the escalators. Every movement, every smile, so beautifully executed, with all the admiring looks from everyone in the airport. I never felt so proud of them before, and the best of all, they saw me holding on to my singapore passport, and they stopped and started talking to me. Great commercial, however; they forgot the airline's strict policy about how a SG should style her hair: Hair in a bun, or hair style cut that does not go below the shoulder.
Just recently i was on a Singapore Airlines flight and i was just thinking of this commercial if American Airlines had done it. Two weeks ago i was flying wit AA for between NY to LA and it was the worst damn flight i ever had. So instead like in the original commercial we see an 40+ stewardess, dead tired and pissed of going around for a minute ignoring everyone and once in a while give the people a angry look and finally snap and bitch slap some poor random women. Was in Incheon airport waiting for my plane, when i saw a group of SIA girls (and not forgetting guys) walking gracefully down the escalators. Every movement, every smile, so beautifully executed, with all the admiring looks from everyone in the airport. I never felt so proud of them before, and the best of all, they saw me holding on to my singapore passport, and they stopped and started talking to me. Just recently i was on a Singapore Airlines flight and i was just thinking of this commercial if American Airlines had done it. Two weeks ago i was flying wit AA for between NY to LA and it was the worst damn flight i ever had. So instead like in the original commercial we see an 40+ stewardess, dead tired and pissed of going around for a minute ignoring everyone and once in a while give the people a angry look and finally snap and bitch slap some poor random women. I've never flown singapore airlines (nor even been to Singapore yet)... but I stop to watch every time this ad comes on TV, it's just so sweet, pretty, kinda heartwarming. Always makes me smile.

singapore girl ads should give you goosebumps when you first watch em.. thats the intention of making the strategic hostess ads... this one gave me one, so job well done for singapore airlines. the music is the best part
