For those of who you are wondering...in theatre, just before the show begins, it DOES become pitch-black inside while everyone settles down. I don't know why, but it's just what broadway does :P

It's pre-broadway because it was in Denver b4 NYC. This show reAlly had some of the most beautiful set and costumes i've seen, it was the 1st broadway show I saw:)

I don't think this show gets the credit it diserves. I saw the original broadway cast in New York City, and it was absoluetly fantastic. The sets and costumes were eye popping and the effects were amazing, and the overall quality of the show was so impressive. It definatly captured the beauty and music of the disney classic.

Instead there are more and more shows that have the WORST themes, flaunt vulgarity, and leave absolutely nothing to the imagination. Theatre needs to go back to the classics.
