  • @MsJanetWood You nailed it, MOST of the problem lies with the kids and parents.

  • I bet all of those Urban Americans are mad, they had to bring in a Korean to fix the mess they have made. Maybe, just maybe the schools will see some improvement......NAH, not any real improvement.

  • @tickyul your ignorance baffles me

  • @jasonfelix2003 Really, point out an example the "ignorance" in my previous post. I mean, you think it does not boil Urban Americans blood when they bring in a Korean to clean up blacks mess????And, in genreal, when blacks control schools......well, tee hee hee.....uh, you know.

  • @tickyul I'am black and your correct, rhee is correct, fire those bums

  • @regionfree1 Well, I do not wish anyone ill.....but, I see this as a failed country, things will only get worse. And I think the Demorats will just gain more and more power when they pass amnesty for illegals, more and more crumbling cities and trillion spent on Anchor babies. I do not like the Republirats much more than the Demorats.....but the Dems are insane. And yeah, throwing more money at schools has not and will not "fix" things, that will take motivated kids and parents.

  • @tickyul You've shown plenty of ignorance in you previous posts about high-speed rail, and I don't expect any different in other subjects. The Republican Party, and increasingly the Democratic Party, is corporate controlled. Corporate interests are getting in the way of the interests of the commonwealth. It's freakin' sad. I know a school in which almost all the teachers have a second job. One is working at a Trader Joes for the health benefits. California teachers are being forced to

  • @tickyul take furlough days. There is no money to buy any practice books or workbooks. So while the country has no money for public education and is putting it's kids' futures in jeopardy, strangely it has enough to give oil companies subsidies, subsidize the fishing industry, and spend $600 billion every year on the military.

  • I'll be watching Ms Rhee. Hopefully she'll make a huge difference in DC schools. A radical approach may be just what the doctor ordered.
