@reignman865 the arangment of the sample was nice, not a fan of the sample, but thats an opinion. The drums were all in all weak. not the pattern, but the selection.
@reignman865 Sup my dude, up late 2? my wife is out of town & it's on, i'm Banging just hard as i can LOL, i just put a short vid, come check out the sounds... PEACE!!
dude, your sequencing is spotty. Your drums are extra shitty. You need better drums than those. This sounds like background music from a low-budget porno.
@HipHopRally@HipHopRally You're right... What I should have done is checked out all that hot shit you got posted for some tips...LMFAO Yo, do me a favor, post something or shut the fuck up. The last person anybody wants to hear from is a no talent muthafucka - like yourself - with nothing on his own page, but plenty of rap about someone elses..
I like how you're using the sample close near the end of the video. That's probably the best kind of usage. Shorter sample stabs that cut eachother off.
Knock definitely got me drooling over Maschine. It was like I HAD to have it. I was actually looking at buying the MV-8000 because of that tight joint he did over that Jay-Z sample. Then I saw that New York vid, and that was enough for me to go ahead and get Maschine and start finally having my own studio after 25 years of wishing, mainly because the tech finally exists to be able to afford it and work and promote it like I want to(quickly and efficiently) and sound good.
@Rayfstralia Yeah, I think the New York joint he did was the one that got me too. Funny though, before I got Maschine I never used a MPC or anything like that before, just drum machines...
Hey, Reign... good job on those beats, mate! It's good to see someone else who has a mind to funk up the classics! My old HS band director would KILL me if he knew what I was about to do with some of the old marches. Stay tuned for some vids from me. I just need to finish hooking everything up, and finish my sample farming. You and Knocksquared have been inspirations to me.
@Rayfstralia Thanks a lot. I use classical shit just because it's different...(and to see just how bad I can twist it). I'll be looking out for your posts. And yeah, if it wasn't for Knock, I probably wouldn't have given MASCHINE a second look...
Yo Rignman, I agree with you regarding Your comment about Truncating your Phrases, and how you been sampling "since it started", I have been Sampling since 1984 using The Fairlight, The synclavier, The Emulator 1 and 2. Your beats are DEF, Keep Producing.
@ghandilord98, Thanks for the comment. But I want to make sure it is understood what I meant by "since it started"... I was referring to the beginning of hip hop. At that time I started as a DJ, I didn't start doing any sampling until some time later.
NO noo NOOO those drums do not work this is great but you gotta do something different with those drums

This beat that you've created does absolutely No justice to the original composition which you've chosen to sample.
Grandiosity is lacking.

@freklez, just a little. Even though the sample itself sounded ok @ it's orig. rpm, the beat dragged.
