It comes down to this. Two of these will be locked up for life because of their prior charges and an absolutely fed up city sick of dealing with senseless murder. King may have had the potential to live a productive life, but he threw it out the window and will be behind bars for a minimum of 25 years.
The fact is this, "innocent until proven guilty" is bullshit. He assisted someone in a murder...and continued to live a lifestyle that brags about such actions.

I heard that this city council member saw so much in King, but people were telling him he was going to let him down. He spiraled down, he let his self, family and other leaders down. There are plenty of people who grow up around Arbor Hill, who actually do things with their lives instead of turning to crime.
Define "abject" poverty. These kids have a roof over their head, food on their plate, and they go to school. They're not living in a hut in some foreign country. They had all the opportunity in the world and they blew it. Not to mention, they can afford studio times and auto tunes. They just wanted to prove how "tough" they are.

You sound like a very classy individual. Having known this boy on a professional level, it is what ArkanStorm says, a very sad story. He was a smart kid - honor roll student and did a lot of volunteer work around Albany. Breaks my heart to know this is the path he chose - he really could have done great things.
