God I wish idiots did not keep telling LP'ers to keep Dragon Bones/Scales. You cannot use them until you have 100 smithing and unless you are going all out to get that perk early you are unlikely to be able to use them until Lvl 30 or so. Sell them - live in the now!!! You will be slaying plenty of dragons and be awash with their remains by the time you are that level anyway. Sell, sell sell.

The beauty of Skyforged Steel is that it's good damage but much lighter than any comparable weapon. The blade may do a point less damage than that axe, but it will swing about 1.5 times faster. More hits means more damage, and less Stamina usage on power attacks.

Also the general goods store gives less money for goods than most other stores.

Sell armor and weapons to smiths. Sell magic items to mages. Sell food stuffs to inns.

Sell the junk left over that no one else will buy to the general goods store.

A few things to note the blacksmith Eorlund grey mane at 3:46 has an option to buy and sell stuff to him. So instead of throwing your overweight axe at him you should have sold it for cold hard gold. Second you can upgrade weapons at a grinding wheel with some of the ingots you are lugging around get rid of that excess weight and improve a weapon at the same time and raise your skill in smithing and your over all level al at the same time.

Don't know if this has been answered yet, but you need to use fire on them. Trolls have a very high regeneration rate, but are susceptible to fire. When your character is a higher level it doesn't matter as much but for now fire is the best way to kill them.

Darnoc, dont keep those dragon bones, all you can make with them is dragon armor which requires 100 smithing, instead hoard up any ebony ingots and daedra hearts you find and make daedric armor it is stronger than dragon and only requires 90 smithing. to get daedra hearts talk to an elf in the mages college of winterhold who will trade you. to get ebony ingots go to a orcish mine southeast of windhelm

u should talk to the lady at the War Maiden...first house on the left from the front gates in Whiterun. she gives u a mini quest to deliver a sword and also gives u free ingots and stuff to create weapons and armor as well as smith them to a better level.

To upgrade base damage, go to a forge and use the grindstone to upgrade your weapon. You will need to have a steel ingot to upgrade that sky forge sword. Upgrades go from Skyforge Steel Sword (Fine) to (Legendary)

I deffinately think you should start using your bow a lot more. And START USING THE FRIGGIN FORGE. And if you combine Archery and forging, you can make a bow. And I suggest that. I made an elven how and then I upgraded it to an exquisite elven bow. Does a whole lot of damage and I can kill a lot of people with one arrow.

If I were you I would save up for a house in Windhelm or Solitude. There houses cost $12,000 at the least, but they will be much better and bigger. And buy stuff for your house, buy an alchemy lab, an enchanters table, master bedroom, kitchen, and best of all, an armory.

Go to the temple of Mara in riften and buy an amulet of Mara for 200 hold and then talk to random people in the market place and then ask if they are interested in you and then do all that good stuff. And then your married. The reason I said do that in the market is because they will go to your house and then say they want money so they will start a business. Then you just talk to them everyday and they will give you half the money they make everyday.

Smithing Iron Daggers and then enchanting them is a great way to level up smithing, enchanting and speechcraft. Get the perk Merchant in the Speech section at some point. It will let you sell all your wonderful loot to any merchant which is helpful if you want to barter loot for awesome stuff like soul gems. As a final comment to this post your game-play strategy for going to the closet HUD is something after my own heart.

You should also improve that skyforge steel sword. Because its base damage is already at 18, improving it will probably make it better than your axe. And decorating your house is worth it! You get an alchemy table and book cases to store your books in. You also get a weapon rack, and the various end tables and wardrobes you get have some gold in them.

Darnoc, here is what you should do. Keep that Skyforge steel sword. Level up your enchanting and smithing, and then enchant that skyforge steel sword with a fire enchantment. give it less charges, but it will do more damage each time. also in the enchanting skill tree use the perk that enhances flame enchantments, and use a grand or greater soul gem. I know you read all comments so I hope this helps. Trust me.

yet another short summary:

- Increase sword attack on a grinding stone (by the main gate to Witherun).

- Stronger soul gems give stronger enchantments

- Game difiiculty level one up?

- Remember to store all your ingridients at your new home. A own chest would be smart. When you can afford it, buy an alchemy table, withdraw all your collected ingridients and power-alchemise! You should also withdraw all your stored stuff before a potential decorating-session.
