@BamzuAMK97 my coach told me to not worry about fast strokes just smooth long strokes with fast smooth legs :) i tried that and went a 31.0 in my 50M SCY fly ;) so try that :-]
@oliveandtina Thank you very much i tried it today and went 27 !!! :) Sorry about the spelling's in the last comment anyways thank you so much and good luck in your swimming to your an amazing swimmer .
Very awesome :) I'm 12 and I just got back from finals at a swim meet where I swam the 100 and 200 fly and got tags (state time) in both. Fly is awesome! Keep it up Katie! Keep up the great work! U have inspired me :D
Very wide pulling from the front view. There has been very fast swimmers with a wide pull though. Seems like the usa swimming coaches generally believe in a pull closer to the body with more elbow bend though, which makes sense! No doubt she is a very talented swimmer.
Great video. The butterfly is beautiful, but I wonder if backstroke isn't her best stroke. Maybe it's because she went immediately from fly to back, but her backstroke arms look wide, and her angle in the water looks steep.
This video is of Katie at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She was on of 30 girls in the USA invited to participate in the National Select Camp held there in Jan, 2009.
This is video taken of her doing fly and backstroke. It was a very hard camp, they swam 13,000 meters a day, at 6,047 feet of elevation.
Holy crap. You are AMAZING katie. I wish I could swim like that. Fly is my best stroke and I can't even swim like that.
