Is this the agitator that has the larger vanes at the bottom than the dual action agi on a regular whirlpool or kenmore?

Made by Whirlpool for KitchenAid. They do get your clothes clean, very clean, but they beat the hell out of them too.

@SpazChat -- KA machines of this vintage and later (and possibly a bit earlier) are gentler. They have a 3-speed motor, larger agitator (the base covers the perforations in bottom of the basket), and run at medium motor speed for high agitation. Low agitation is at the lowest 3rd motor speed. Highest motor speed is used only for drain and highest spin speed. Final spin on the Perm Press cycle runs 2 mins each of low, medium, and high motor speed.

Nice washer. I knew someone who had one of these it really scrubbed clothes clean and lasted 15 years.
