I made an error on one of my previous statements. During falsetto, the vocal chords are not closed - they are in fact wide open. However, this allows so much air to flow through that the sound comes out as very tentative or "breathy." That's what I meant when I said that it sounded "weak" compared to head voice. In head voice, the vocal chords are open only at about the top quarter of their length, and the resonance is actually coming from within the skull bones rather than the diaphragm.

nah dude this is falsetto. given it is a really well developed one, but it is falsetto. falsetto can sound full and powerful when the singer is trained well, as is the case here. but you can tell its not head voice, its very clear, the quality is not quite as full as head voice, it has a thinner sound and is more noticeably different than the chest voice. go listen to some head voice singers i.e. robert plant and mark boals and you will hear a difference
