  • hundreds responded, some hadn't even been officially called. They only had 3 stairways to go up. they first had to check in with the 'board' officer and then wait to be called.....if hundreds went up at the same time there would be no record of them and a complete useless crush in already filling stairwells. Some are Fire Patrol (red hats) who are insurance men, useless on a day like this.

  • this is a great documentary and i am glad you put this on here but something that puzzles me about this is why are there dozens of men milling about for so long? did they even put the fire buckets up as high as they could get them to try to put out the fire i never saw one bucket go up just fireman talking and doing nothing. it pisses me off really . your are awesome for posting this and i appreciate it been looking for this for awhile .

  • @sammy11232003 No way was a bucket reaching that high. They knew that... thats why you dont see any going up

  • Its funny u know all they did was stand.

  • How did the people survive in the elevators when they just said that the damage caused in the lobby was from all the jet fuel pouring down the elevator shafts? Strange...

  • @danvillan

There are a ton of elevators between those two buildings. Not all of them were effected.

  • Most shocking day of my life!

  • it's like looking at ghosts...so eerie that those buildings aren't there anymore.
