  • this brings back memories. my father raced sand rails back in the late 90's on a 300ft dirt track. the first sand rail he raced had a 1835 on it, and it ran 4.80's, then he stepped up to a mid engine dragster with a 2165 he built (superflo heads chevy valve springs, dual delorto carbs, etc). it ran 4.20's babyin it off the line and granny shiftin. he couldn't keep tranny's in it, after about the 3rd pass it would bust em. he didn't wanna buy a exspensive racing tranny for it so he sold it lol.

  • My rail, which you can see on my posts has a 2ltr Mirafiori engine in it, reckon I could have a fair stab at it. lol

  • you deff lost lol ok dude my grandpa has a rail with a vw engine. it ran 5.02 all day dude and that was in the late 80's
