Without the comic book, there would've been no cartoons, no movie, no nothing, just some silly toys. Hama was a brilliant writer and the comics are 100 times better than the cartoons or the movie. If the studio just sticks to the comic book storyline they'll make better films.

Well the thing i liked most about the movie is it gives back stories on certain characters. The accelerator suit was actually one of the really cool parts of the movie. I will say this without giving too much away it starts off slow and picks up midway through the movie. I still very much recommend it.
