Why do people not understand that it's not how fast you can play, or if you did it first, it's how you interpreted it and carried it that matters? He plays the song great and sometimes less is more. His version never ceases to send shivers up my back. I've listened to the other versions that are supposedly better but they are not. Sometimes less is more. Funtwo nails it. He may be a one show pony, but his show is amazing. Admit it and get over it.

funtwo's version is a mear cover of JerryC's original... i really don't think he deserves this much credit! if you think this is amazing, then check out upunushi (called "I destroyed the canon rock) or Mattrach's version... those should receive way more attention than this kid. (I'm not denying his talent in playing, and of course we ought to thank him for making the song popular anyhow. But this kid is overrated for sure)

this version is actually out of sync. The sounds comes out before he picks the string and on some parts before he even properly frets the guitar. Maybe for people don't play guitar is looks out of sync, but the original was perfectly synced the way it was.

People usually look at the guitar board to estimate it, but this is the wrong thing to do. The real way to evaluate is to look at his right hand and more preciously the plectrum.

Just my opinion but I think this arrangement is a bit better.
