Actually, according to my research, hemp 'isn't' basically marijuana. Well, it 'is,' but in the same way broccoli and brussels sprouts are basically cabbage. Point being, they originated from the same plant, but 'industrial' hemp (the kind used for stuff) is not 'high-inducing.' Industrial hemp generally contains less than .3% THC, while marijuana-hemp usually contains over 15% THC.

Although I don't promote use of drugs, the legalization of marijuana would be beneficial to this country.
