  • Hello. Great video! Where did you get your spam molding?

  • I like the song. Good job.

  • Are those FURIKAKI delicious? I always see them at ranch/asian supermarket. Different kinds. I'm tempted to try one but afraid that it won't taste good. Which ones are good? Thanks for the vid, I'm gonna try one. I had this before at a LL hawaiian bbq restaurant.

  • this looks like fun :) lol

  • @ mz1nnocent what song and artist is that?

  • @cassielovesnigelmore "Put Some Time" by Natural Vibrations

  • HO...... It's amazing how you wen "time" da demonstration to match EXACTLY how long da song wen last!!!! How you wen do dat?! I jus' TRIP!! ....Ok, now I gotta go make wen Spam-musabi cuz I stay HUNGRY now! Mahalo fo da demonstration.... I know how already, but wuz fun fo' watch someone else make dem!! Try making 100 of dem for wen fundraiser!! You know how hod wuz for make 100 and not eat ONE damn Spam-musabi 'cuz goin' get cracks from my mom for "Eating all da fricken' profits!!" Lol !!:P

  • @clayludicrous haha...uhmm...i dunno...i was lucky i guess. i was surprised myself when the song ended the same time as the vid...it was perfect!

wow...100 musubis..that's too much for me to make all by myself. the most i made was 30 and I was complaining cuz nobody wanted to help me make them.

  • @mz1nnocent ~ The secret is to get da dbl musubi maker! Dat way no need cut da nori in half, but you gotta cut da "double" spam-musubi in half. Theoretically (hybolical word, yah?), it cuts da production time in half!! Or if you look at it another way, you can make double da amount of spam musubi :) More fo' share wit your friends, and mo fo' eat!! Ho... I stay hungry again..... Gotta go cook rice now fo' make Spam musubi!!! :P

  • brah im so damn hungry now id mop dat shit like noting

  • Perfect! Hands down the best Musubi Video on the web!! (Great tune also!)

I discovered Spam Musubi in a little place in Chicago last month and loved it!

Picked up the ingredients at the store yesterday, and until my musubi mold comes from Amazon.com in a few weeks, I'll be using the Free-Mold that comes with every can of Spam!

  • oh man, I MISS HAWAII!!!

    Love u Hawaii!

  • Where did you get the mold thing at?

  • where can i get the musubi holder?

  • @skyboy2012 @ScribblzFTW I bought it at my local grocery store here in Hawaii. Umm....Try looking in the asian food isle

  • @skyboy2012 just use a spam can :)

  • you dont have to use oil

spam will release some oil while heating so just put it in the pan without oil

just try once , you will like it more

    keep up the good work

  • @booshveg my mom was cooking before me so it had a few leftover vegetable oil and i didn't want to waste. i usually don't cook it with oil..just like you said, the spam itself will release oil

  • I miss you hawaii when will I see you again. I eat this everymorning there...yummy

  • I miss hawaii so much, I was only there for three years, and moved I haven't had musubi since and it's so annoying even the restaurant up the street from me called hula hands doesn't have it......Thanks for the recipe though I can now make it at home.

  • that looks nice can i have one...LoL

  • lmao i thought spam musubi is

a japanese food. Dang im freakin idiot lolz

btw where can i buy the "musubi molder"

i want to do this dish...ohhh so yummy

    great vid.

  • @14louix14 well...i bought my musubi mold here in Hawaii in our local drug store in the section where they sell kitchen stuff...or you could try looking at an Asian store/market or try looking on ebay .

    yes it's very good! :)

  • ohhh i see

    thanks it really helps..

    :)

  • you can also be ghetto and use the can from the spam and just cut out the bottom its a little bit trickier but it ultimatly works the same=]

  • @theoneandonlybfresh lol my cousin does that. yeah...i guess u could do that too

  • Fair deal, you'll be my girlfriend and I'll teach you to cook some great Italian cuisine! :-p

  • dang girl thanks for making the "normal" way .. ever video i see uses "sushi rice" lol so rajah on the rice

  • i know...and sushi rice is so expensive

  • I'm sorry but that is not the proper way to make the musubi from the islands. The spam should be in the middle not at the end! Anyone from the islands knows that. What kine dat?

  • mz1nnocent whats furikaki?

  • japanese rice seasoning

  • i miss hawaii, good video wat is the song in the background

  • "Put Some Time" by Natural Vibrations

  • that shit is the best and its healthier than a cheeseburger

  • I'm so glad my Hawaiian friends in college introduced me to Spam Musubi. I make them two or three times a year for special occasions...and they always disappear.

  • you can use the Spam can as a mold, too.

  • hawaiians for life cuz just want to see houli eat spam musibi and then spit out then eat it . That what happen to my step dad.

  • damn looks so good i can only buy these like 3 times a year at the Japanese festival

  • why don't you just make it yourself? it's simple.

  • i like to use a left over spam can which i can opened the bottom side as a mold. that way u dont really need to buy more stuff besides what u eat lol

  • where do you get the mold?

  • Ar eyou form Hawaii?? Umm...I think my mom bought it at LONGS or in Chinatown somewhere.

  • I was thinking: for a little added flavor, instead of using water for the press (top part,) try using sesame oil.

  • hmmm...i haven't tried a musubi w/sesame oil before...but i'll try it th enext time i make some.

  • I was hoping for you singing or a voice over. You are one of my favorite singing channels. I like the cooking show too. What is the wrap? seaweed? Spam is indeed an adventurous choice.

  • yes it's seaweed
