I just bought a Squier standard strat.. special edition... The pickups sound decent... but not much oomph... looking at the tex mex or the texas specials.. was there a big difference with the new pickups??
I see :), well im waiting for some more vids from you mate, maybe silvertown blue's is an idea, i've never seen anyone do a cover of it and it really is one of his best solo pieces along with boom like that! cheers
You will have to wait at least few more weeks, MK's signature strat is on the way from the USA, I already got Fender Twin Reverb amp and first I will have to enjoy some time playing before I record something again :) But this will no doubt happen. After I mod the amp with preamp out, since it lacks one...

Soon, I hope. I have a chance of getting a second-hand (3 yrs old) MK signature strat. But I'll see in what condition it is. If not in very good one, I'll continue to use my squier and be happy with it.
Nah. I will stay on my current guitar. The guy is insane, wants way too much money for his guitar, and it's not even in a very good condition (few scratches and bumps).
